Did anyone see John Cleese's little twitter tantrum the other day? Seems the "comedian" had a serious sense of humour failure when some troll suggested that he may not exactly have a full head of hair. I'm surprised someone of his age and standing would rise to the bait so easily and be so sensitive. He could have handled the troll better tbh and I'm disappointed he couldn't have responded in a more mature, intelligent manner but I guess no matter how old, rich or successful you are losing your hair is still a hurtful experience.

Dude is almost 80 and freaking out because someone called him out for balding...makes me wonder what my mindset will be at that time

Then you've got guys who say hair loss isn't a factor once you hit 30... or 40... or 50... or 60....

Right.

Dont really care about celebrities, but no one wakes up one day at a certain age and suddenly doesnt care at all about male pattern baldness anymore. Some people might not care to begin with, but I think most do its just you cant do anything anyway.

A friend of mine was going through chemotherapy a few years back. He was about 60 years old. He said the worst part about the chemo was losing all his hair. He felt like he wasn't himself anymore.

So much for the 'It's just hair bruh, just shave it off and be confident, bruh' crap advice.

Yes that is very true. A lot of people facing things like cancer or end of life situations care a lot about their appearance still hair included. Is caring what you look like vain? I think its human nature really so not caring is more inhuman.

Right.
man, it is not that you still care. PEOPLE still care. Last night I was at a restaurant with the band I play drums with. We were watching a video of us from two years ago and the guitarist said to me: "what happened to your hair in two years?" The bass player also said something.
he is NOT a bad person. He never mocked me before. Just the first thing that came to his mind watching this drummer going from 42 to 44. The HAIR

He seems to be insecure about his hair transplant so emphasizing that it's his REAL hair, only redistributed

You are all so wrapped up in your own misery that you cannot tell that this was a joke. Sad

It's possible he was gently poking fun at himself but I sensed some annoyance towards the troll as well. Also, I think he does care otherwise he wouldn't have go the hair transplant in the first place.
