They were talking about it on the radio last night, and even people not as fucked up and paranoid as us, come out with 'has he had some work done under that', because they are always seeing him with a hat on, and apparently... (Can anyone who's seen the film correct this), they also said this because he keeps a hat on for the whole Sherlock film? Now if that's true, that is a bit odd?

No that's not true, he has it off sometimes.

Jude Law isn't wearing a piece in this film either. You can definitely tell he's thinning. The film itself is dark (color-wise), and the way his hair is brushed up on the sides you'd never think he was anything more than a NW3 for most of the time.

Nah, most of the film he doesn't have a hat on, just brushes a bit of hair over the temples. I actually think his hair looks pretty good in the movie, older, sure, but it suits the character and doesn't look odd.

I think hair transplants on actors are definitely becoming common knowledge thanks to the Mail, gossip sites etc, not to the extent some people keep tabs on them here, but I knew about Jamie Foxx's, Mel Gibson's and Joel McHale's before I started paying attention to people's hair. If Jude Law has had a noticeable one it'd probably really set the ball rolling.

And regarding major hair transplants, Jeremy Piven has pretty much gone from slick bald on top to an NW2, but he isn't that famous anyway. It's very obvious, though, and his scar has been photographed on the beach.

So are we to believe that ALL these people with hair transplant HAVE to be on Propecia to keep their hair?

What the hell is he hiding under that hat? It must be a hair transplant, or maybe he has gone for a slick bald look?

I agree with Monty.

I wonder if come Spring/Summer - we'll see Jude with a NW2.

What's the deal with Brad Pitt? is he really that lucky at 48 or whatever he is now, his hair is looking unbelievably lush and thick in Moneyball

Actually I think that he's just lucky. There is no way that he is wearing a wig or had a hair transplant. It just looks too natural. Maybe he'll thin out a bit in his old years.

All I know for sure is that he had ears surgery because they were sticking out. Also, his jaw seems a bit fishy. And he's likely dying his hair now, because his beard is gray. And that's all of his problems

Pitt is like the luckiest guy in the world. He's got the looks, height, hair, body, money, and even at 48 I bet he would get a lot of very young pussy in the clubs (even if he wasn't famous and rich).

Wow, look at all the comments. Women seem to not care, and some people say that he has no hairloss and just shaved hair short. Man, people really have no clue! I think he would have a good transplant result. He still seems to have good donor, and would have additional donor hair from his hair chest

Also it's brave and confident from Law to embrace his balding like that, when most Hollywood stars would get a wig or got a transplant.

I think this is my favorite comment.

Personally, I'm always slightly suspicious of a man of a certain age retaining a full head of hair. Perhaps I'm giving a womanly secret away by saying that baldness doesn't really bother us in the least. It separates the men from the boys; the estrogen from the testosterone.

I dont think that is entirely true. I really think that women love hair, they take a really good care of his hair, and love guys with a head full of hair, and if they are in his 40s they tend to love the NW2 look, but dont really like the nw7 horseshoe pattern.

Im saying this because Im working right now in a office with a lot of women, around 50 women in my work, and we sometime talks about hair and fashion. Guys, I can assure you, the "young guys balding" is a recurring conversation.

I still have a lot of hair and nobody in my social circle suspects that I'm loosing hair, thats why we talk freely about it...

Sure, some of them say that the shaved look is sexy, but trend to refer to big muscle guys like Vin Diesel.

Like this guy has to worry about losing his hair. He isn't exactly ugly....above all he is famous and rich...girls like that.

I think Jude looks great bald, much more rugged. In fact, even if he had more hair, I reckon it looks better that short. It's the plainer faces that suffer more through baldness.

Before some militant NW7 gets on my case- I know he's not completely bald- he's lost a significant amount of hair though.
