Just buzzed my head with no guard

Went from 3 inches of hair to stubble. Funny, I don't feel liberated. I just look like a punk kid. I can't imagine what it would look like had I followed justshaveit's advice and shaved it off haha. The benefit though is I get to scare the crap out of my friends by wearing a cap out and then taking it off with each one of them I meet. :lol:

And at least it's summer and it's supposed to be like 94 degrees tomorrow so i won't be sweating my *** off as much.

well i dunno if ill keep this look, its not that bad, but either way, having a buzzed head with a good hairline looks a lot better than being an nw6 with a buzzed head. i have stubble all over my head and if i went off the meds, within 10 years, i'd be an nw6 i bet.

I got a little too overzealous with the clippers, hence the irritation on the top and sides of my head. My set of clippers is old and crappy an thats why. They dont cut very fast I should get a new one made by Oster or something.

Sorry about the flash too. It whites out entire portions ofmy head. It is my brother's cam since I can't find mine and i don't know how to turn it off.

haha....well that doesnt tell anything....what we really needed to see was your hair long, slicked back and wet...and an over head shot.

I never accused you of using concealers....so i dont know where that came from

I believe that if your gonna post before and after pics of treatments you should try to cut out all the variables....so all the pics should be under the same conditions.

One thing if for sure though, your hair isnt very dense.

my hair looks like the same density on the sides and back as it is on the top with this haircut. i dont really think i ever had thick density even when i was say age age 13, way before male pattern baldness. My hair was always a thinner density you know? But that doesnt matter. Are you saying it looks bad? I realize you don''t like me but I happen to think that it looks nice and no one would look at me and say BALD.

And everyone on here says that buzzing down with no guard or shaving makes one look older, well my mom says now I look like a 16 year old, whereas two hours ago before buzzing I looked early 20s(my real age). So hm

I think it will look better in a week or so....when you had it buzzed at the end of last summer on like a 2 or 3 i think it looked better.

but like i said...all that matters is if you like it and maybe your gf.

last october i buzzed it on a 4(1/2 inch) all over. three weeks later i buzzed it to a 1(1/8th inch) all over. then i didnt buzz it again till today when i did it on 0, which i guess is maybe like 1/16th of an inch or 1/32nd.

anyway this is very liberating ive decided

i thank RON PAUL for giving me the courage to do it. it definitely takes balls to cut hair this short and then go out in public as i did a little while ago.

so you're saying he always had more hairs per circular inch than me for example, greater density. so when he buzzes he has better coverage. i, on the other hand, with naturally thin dark hair, never has as good coverage. i don't see why that matters with a buzz though. buzzes always show scalp. i dont think someone will come up to me and say your density is not good enough for a buzz. and if you think it looks bad now why do you think it would look better a week or two from now when it's a quarter inch. what's the difference when it's still a buzz. :hairy: the more important thing to me would seem to be no real noticeable difference in density between top and sides and back.

I think it looked better when you did it the 2nd time last year...I think it just too short....

Personally, I think buzz cuts look better for guys with greater density...esp african americans or hispanics. I dont think anyone would think your balding from those pics b/c like you said the density looks uniform throughout.
