Just How Normal Is The Watery Semen?

Hey everyone,


I started finasteride .5mg a few days ago. No real side effects other than noticeably more watery semen and possibly less ejaculate.

This doesn't seem to be one of the side effects that's get lumped into the 2-3% chance of getting figure (impotence, Ed, libido). Is this relatively normal? I do want to have kids someday but I thought I read finasteride doesn't mess with your sperm health as much.

Everyone I know personally who tried finasteride got this (n=5).

Its pretty common, this is actually a direct effect of the drug. Semen is found in the prostate, and finasteride slightly shrinks the prostate.

Ok good to know. At some point I will likely want kids. After looking at the clinical data it looked like it had mild effects in the short term but also that a lot of people were able to conceive normally. Sounds like with done people they even recovered while still on finasteride.

Stop looking to into it man, take your finasteride and forget about it. There's no way this drug would be on the market for 20+ years if it stopped people from having kids, ya dig?

I wouldn't have kids at all because:

1) I dont want to pass on balding genes
2) Ejaculations with finasteride are obviously of lower quality, which can't be good to have kids since your future kids are floating in that low quality ejaculation
3) Notice how pregnant women are adviced to not even touch the pills

I just don't see how it is a good idea at all.
