Hey guys just started Proscar. My Doctor said cut one tab into 4, take 1/4 a day. Does that sound about right? I've read some people on here, split them into 5, so what one day you would get a bit of a lower dosage or should I be sticking with 1/4? Anywho, how long should I expect to see results? My crown is fine, what has happened is my hairline has receded on the sides quite a bit these past 2 years. I know finn stops you're hair from dying and falling out, but is there a chance that my hairline could come back, or at least come forward a bit? Finally, I've seen a lot of before and after pictures and it's always Finn combined with Rogaine. Do I actually need to use Rogaine? I mean if Finn ends up working for me then does it really make a difference, I've heard so many mixed things about rogaine.. seems like a waste of time and money.

Thanks guys.

Do 1/4 everyday. You could see regrowth in 3 months or in 12 varies from person to person. Also you might not even see results; it is not meant to regrow hair but to stop progression.

But technically speaking if there is still hair where my hairline is receding, but it's just not very visible, just really thin and weak, this should make it come back out thicker? Everybody has different results, but some people have had there hairline come back yes?

Take 1/4 every day consistently. I saw signs of regrowth at 3 months, but my main issue was in my crown. After about a year, I can't even tell that I was ever balding.

finasteride isn't too great for treating your hairline. There's a good chance it will thicken up what you have, which might give the appearance that it's moved forward a bit, but probably not going to do much for your areas with really thin hairs. The best thing about finasteride for your case is it will slow down or halt further loss.

yeah i'm hoping that even if it just thickens my hairline it'll give the appearance of my hairline being down. My problem is I have a huge forhead and go figure my hairline has receded so much already. I'll deff post before and after pics.. I've seen other peoples photos and some people seem to have really good luck with the hairline, i am only 21 so hopefully it's not too late. No side effects either so far for anybody who's reading this.. so far anyways
