Hey guys whaddup. I’ve been on finasteride for 3 or 4 years now; hair has stayed thick but my hairline has continued to worsen slowly – lately it’s taken a hit and there’s a bunch of miniaturised hair there. I’m 24 and I want to stop this sh*t in its tracks until better treatments come to save us all.
So I ordered RU from chemyo; 5% 50mg premixed (not KB). I used it twice on my hairline, using 0.2ml-0.3ml. This was a couple days ago, and I haven’t applied it since because my legs have started aching non-stop since then and I’m worried it’s from the RU (have read some accounts of muscle pain).
I haven’t hit the gym or done any rigorous exercise lately; my calves just randomly started aching out of the blue; when I go up or down steps I feel like an old man. Obviously this has freaked me out a bit, though I can’t be 100% sure it’s from the RU, the timing just makes me think it is. I haven’t applied it in a day or two but the ache hasn’t subsided.
I haven’t had any other sides.
I was really hoping RU would work for me; I NEED something to stop my hairline and now I’m lost on what to do. I’m thinking I’m going to wait for the aching to go, then apply again and see if it happens again, to be sure.
If it is from the RU, then I don’t know what to do. Could I try a less potent %? Like 3%, or even 1%? I literally only used 0.3 ml, and there are dudes saying they used 2.5ml and never got a side – which is weird to me, cos’ I tolerate finasteride just fine, so I wasn’t expecting any sides from RU.
What do you guys think? If I have to drop RU, what else can I do? I’m about to order the stuff to make Zix, I have a 6 month Kirkland supply of minoxidil sitting here which I’m considering using (have used in the past, never really monitored to see what it did, but if I’m still losing ground on finasteride, would min even do anything?) I also have three jars of S5 sitting here, and am considering looking into CB (now that Kane sells it). Maybe I could just do RU twice a week?
