Just starting taking Generic "Accord" Finasteride. What should I expect?

20 year old, male, that's been coping with slow-ish hair loss for 4 years now (since I was 16).
I recently hoped on to finasteride, but I'm not sure if my prespription is legit. The reason I say this is because, I haven't really changed my hair loss pattern at all, it hasn't gotten any faster nor any slower, just the same as before.
I haven't encountered that dreaded "shed" Where if I was to run my hand through my hair, 10 hairs would fall.

So, we'll start with..
. Has anyone used "Dr. Fox", in the UK, as a supplier of finasteride?
. Has anyone ever had more success with Propecia as apposed to Generic, or even vice versa?
. Do I have to shed MASSIVELY for the finasteride to eventually work?

Thats about all I can think of right now. If I remember anything else I'll post in the replies.
Thanks guys. C.

are you using minoxidil? if no definitely get on that. minoxidil worked wonders for me in my 20's. if i had used finasteride with the minoxidil back then i would be in a much better place today.

I've just stated with Accord 1mg Finasteride tabs too, not expecting much other than retaining what I have, anything else is a pure bonus :) (not that Accord is any different to Propecia)
