Just Want Some Suggestions On Options, And Hairstyles

Ive posted on here, and i spoke with my doctor and im definitely balding. I turn 18 next month. Doctor said my options were taking Proscar for the rest of my life, just dealing with it, or shave it. Now i really dont want to shave my head but taking a pill every single day without knowing side effects is troublesome, but i dont really have much of a choice. Anyway, im just wondering what i should do about my hair in terms of styling? My forehead looks huge and im debating whether to cut it to a 4 guard all around, or get a comb over? Your head doesn't look huge. You probably think that as your focusing on your hairline . There doesn't seem to be signs of male pattern baldness in those pics. Did you go to a normal dr or a trichologist ? What tests did your dr carry out to determine you're balding ?

I have 2 bald spots on both sides of my head, and the front sides of my scalp are thinning. The right thinned first, and the left side started a month or 2 ago. Normal dr looked at it and said i was in early stages of male pattern baldness. He did blood work to see if theres some other problem, but he said it looked like male pattern baldness to him. I tend to think my head looks like an egg with short hair, a good looking egg but an egg nonetheless which is why im hesitant to cut it short
