20 years old with a receding hairline. Been on the big 3 for a little over 3 months now with signs of good regrowth. Tons of long thin peach fuzz all over my temples. I take 1.25mg of finasteride, 5% rogaine foam once a day at night, and I shampoo with Nizoral 1% at least 3 times a week if not more. I also take 100mgs of CoQ10 and a multivitamin each day.
So to the point. A couple years ago I was given this cream for my face bc i get this red, dried, scaly rash on my nose every once in awhile and the cream clears it right up. Lately the rash came back a little so i have been putting the cream on for a few days now. Today i looked at the active ingredient in the cream and it just so happens to be drum role......... Ketoconazole 2% cream. Sooo this sparked the idea of what if i was to put this on my scalp overnight. I would probably only put it on my temples but do you think this would have any benefit to me? Any better results? I put the foam on my temples too, would this interfere? Any responses would be great. thanks!
