KIFFA's STORY

Hi guys

I'm a man, 24 years old,
I began to see problems of hairloss to the age of 20 years: I am shrewed initially of temples, that they degraded quickly, then I noticed that I was having a general thinning.
So I started to search some solutions on the web, and I started to use meds: in these 4 years I used a lot of products (Finasteride, Remox 12,5%, Revivogen, Tricomin, Folligen, Kirkland, Rogaine, Xandrox 5%, Xandrox 15%, Spironolactone 5%, Progesterone 3%, Betamethason Valerat, Retin-A  obvisouly not at the same time ) and I succeeded to stop hairloss and to invert the miniaturization process.
I have strengthened my hairs in general terms, and I earned some hairs also in the temples/hairline, thanks to years of strong cures.
But obviously, in the hairline, the only way to get hairs back is the hair transplant; so I have decided, to the age of 24 years, to carry out a hair transplant: FUE session, 1300-1500 grafts in temples and to renforce the first line of hairline at center.
I have chosen dr. ********, that works in Belgium, because I saw many his results and he seems (to me) to be the best in circulation for FUE procedure, then he uses the smallest tools and I have the safety that I will not have any white dot scarring (I want to cut my hair at real zero, especially in the summertime :hairy:)
My hair transplant is schedulated for the next month (1 February) and I cannot wait 8)
I show here some pics of my actual situation, in order to let you see my problem (for me it's a big one) and to listen your opinion about it. What do you think?
I actually use:
. Finasteride - 2 mg daily: 1mg in the morning, 1mg in the night
. Retin-A - 1 time at day, 4-5 times at week
. Minoxidil 5% (actually Regaine) - 1 or 2 times at day, every day, after 1 hour from retin-A
- Tricomin/Olive Oil/Aloe Vera Gel - sometimes

honestly that doesn't look bad at all, for a 24 year old that's a pretty typical hairline. do you want your preteen hairline back? also have you considered waiting a few years, if i could maintain like that i would avoid surgery until i felt it was my only hope (as in, years into treatment when treatments stop maintaining as much hair)

either way, document with pictures

His temples look completely blasted to me, totally destroyed. He literally has a measily 1 inch of frontal hairline left.

Thanks a lot "bald is beatiful"
I use 2mg finasteride, because I think that 1mg works for 12 hours more and less, so, using 2mg, I am more covered
I saw rob_x_22 regiment, nice improvement, but he uses only finasteride (like me) and minoxidil 5% in foam, so no combo, no difference with me :(

Wouldn´t it be smarter then to use 1 mg twice a day? Btw, where did you hear that 1mg only works for 12 hours?

I agree with what WoW said. Sure there may be worse cases at gourmetstylewellness.com, but for a 24year old your hairline looks pretty bad. Get on treatments, soon! Good Luck!

Kiffa, your regimen is solid and you are getting an hair transplant, good job so far.

p.s. Since you are willing to take 2 mg of finasteride, did you sesearch avodart? You might find it to your liking.

Yes I can see you problem but think you've done a great job of adapting your hairstlye around it, I actually had an identical style for a small period whilst my hair was like yours but unfortunately my whole front started thinning too.. you look like you'll at least keep a strip in the middle.

dam i wish i had that much hair.... your luck your not losing from the back, the frontal area can be transplated worse case, but just stick to minoxidil and finasteride should be all good.

Good regimen, good idea getting the FUE.

Me personally if I had moles on my head I wouldn't shave it to zero but that's just me. Good luck on the transplants, and way to go on getting on the meds.
