It worked for me at first. I don't know why it hasn't lately though.

Okay, so in between my nizoral days I've been using shampoo and conditioner that is free of harmful chemicals...sulphates and such. The shampoo is Burt's Bees shampoo and I can't remember the name of the conditioner. It has made a huge difference in the itching.

Bad part is you have to swallow your pride because it's located in the makeup/cosmetics area of most stores ha. I think a good lot of us are just sensitive to the harmful chemicals in shampoos and in the city water. It's worth a try! It's felt amazing for me.

I had the exact same problem, tried all kinds of off the shelf products, and my dermatologist wasn't good for much other than charging me an office visit fee. What I did find that helps me is Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo, used once a day everyday. I was having to use Scalpacin a couple times a day before I started with the tea tree oil, now the itching only gets bad enough for that once every few months.

Does tea tree shampoo have any damaging sulphates or chemicals of that nature? I may invest in some.
