lef.org NANO v Proctor NANO

I read in another thread that one of these is stronger / better than the other. I presume the Proctor supplied NANO shampoo is the superior one?

Because I'm not responding to Minoxidil, I'm thinking of alternating NANO with Revita - would it be worth me purchasing some Proxiphen / Nanogaine to use on the same nights I wash with NANO?

Thanks in advance.

lef.org is the cheaper weaker version and the version that most people use.
weaker means basically it doesnt work right?

or its not as effective.

I have the weaker one and it smells strange.

Maybe I should just buy the stronger one because why use a weaker one?

cuz its half the cost. proctor even says it should still be effective, and says its a better bang for your buck. IM willing to bet its just about as effective but it MAY take longer to acheive those results.

I use the lef.org version with no compliants. Proctor would not sell it or put his name on it if it it didnt work.

I went to lef.org and couldnt find "nano" I did find a product called "dr proctors hair regrowth shampoo" is this what you are talking about? If not can u send me the link? Also, what is the difference between nano shampoo, proxiphen and proxipen N. Which is the best? Thanks in advance.

the hair regrowth shampoo is the nano shampoo...if you look at the ingredients youll see nano listed.

the best way is to just go to proctors website and read about his different treatments.

Is it worth using BOTH the NANO shampoo and Prox-N? I see that this is how Bryan got his results, but it seems most people on here only use the NANO shampoo...

I guess a couple of other questions I have are whether there are any reasons that one couldn't:

1) use Minoxidil (morning applications) in conjunction with Prox-N (evening applications)?; or
2) use a Cu peptide spray after NANO shampoo and before Prox-N (or would this be redundant because both Cu peprides and Prox-N are SODs?).

Confused! :$

I'd say using the shampoo and prox-n would work best....it does add continuity to your regime after all...

I've posed the question to the Dr and he says that you can apply Prox-n and minoxidil pretty much at the same time... i.e. put on the prox-n and 30 mins later put on the minoxidil.

His other product Proxiphen after all is simply prox-n + spironolactone + minoxidil + a couple of other things.

Why use tricomin when you're using Prox-n?

I've still got 4 bottles of the old formula American Crew Cu peptide spray (same as the Tricomin forumla).

I guess what you're saying is that Cu peptides are SODases and Prox-N contains SODases, so there's no point using both.

I might stick with the Cu peptides until they run out and move to Nano + Prox-N from there...

i found prox-n a real pain to apply and felt i was wasting a lot of it but i still wanted to use a dr proctor product so i switched to nano which i like a lot. personally id just get the real deal from his website so at least youre not wondering 'what if?' if it doesnt work.

half a bottle of prox-n left if anyone wants it. id only want the postage.

the lef.org version is the real deal...dr. proctor distrubtes it to them. I even emailed dr. proctor and asked him and he told me the lef.org version is fine. so save urself the 20 bucks next time.

No question that it's the real deal - it just seems from everyone else on this board that the LEF version is weaker than the Proctor version. I'd prefer a higher concentration product than a lower concentration product if I can get it...

But even Dr. Proctor once admitted on alt.baldspot the the LEF version is probably a better deal for the money. In other words, the lower concentration of active ingredients isn't as significant as the difference in price.

yep, like bryan is saying, the version from proctor's sight is almost double the cost!

I just ordered from Dr. Proctor's website and found out about the lef.org version here!
Next time, I think I might get the lef.org version.
I wonder actually how weak this version is compared to the original thing?

Alright I need some advice. I'm using Kirkland's liquid minoxidil, but it's drying out my hair like CRAZY. If I used Kirkland's @ night and Proxiphen cream/Proxiphen-N in the morning would that be fine? How does Proxiphen cream/Proxiphen-N make your hair look? Is it drying or does it have a moisturizing look? I need something to re-moisturize my hair!

Also consider the fact that I don't wash my hair on consecutive days, meaning if I could do this then that would mean when I applied Proxiphen cream/Proxiphen-N in the morning then I would apply Kirkland's minoxidil @ night w/o washing in-between.
