I never said science can fix everything. Also you say celebrities go bald big deal. They use the same treatments we do I dont know why people are so stupid they think celebrities have there own underground network of special treatments like batman or something. They have more money but they obey the same laws of nature we all do. Science cant grow you a new brain, or make your penis longer so what who cares. 100 years from now they can grow you a bigger penis in a dish and surgically implant it if your that unconfident in your manhood. Explain what genes do or are? Everything, and I mean everything is a process happening in the body for some reason. Baldness can definitely be stopped maybe not with todays treatments but certainly within 100 years from now so dont say stupid things. Your on a freaking computer over the freaking internet that science invented to show your stupidity in science not being able to achieve things simple minded Neanderthals like you cant understand.

This is purely not a debate about science or technology. Of course there have been major advancements in science and technology. The sky is also blue and 1+1=2. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. My reason for bringing up examples of celebrities is simply to point out the fact that they have millions to spend on products that can "fight" or "reverse" baldness. They have more resources than the common man/woman and yet they still cannot conquer male pattern baldness. They all end up being bald or concealing it someway (even though most ppl can tell). That's a case study to point out that maybe we cannot stop baldness in OUR lifetime (maybe?). I was not saying that they have their own underground network and aren't human beings etc. Celebrities have money and access to the best doctors in the world and they still cannot "cure" balding. If they could, no movie star would be bald and they would be all perfect looking. And to add to your point, there might be a cure for baldness 100 yrs from now but what good will that do for us NOW? Most of us will be dead in 100 years. Or wait, in your mindset we could probably find some way of stopping aging using drugs etc etc. Yes reality flash, aging is dictated by genes as well.

Did you ever think that maybe balding is natural evolution of the human species? And that humans are getting less hairy over time? From caveman days to now, we have less and less hair? Just take a look at your parent's photo albums from when they were kids, teens etc. People back then all had full heads of hair. And in today's society we see male pattern baldness as early in the teenager yrs to early twenties age range. What if 100 years from now, the accepted norm will be a bald head and a cure for baldness was really a waste of everyone's time and money?

You think we evolved enough from our direct parents? Evolution is NOT noticeable from generation to generation...lol.

Maybe my kids will be born without hair period...lol.

Okay im done arguing I dont even understand what your talking about anymore. Your points are jumping all over with the only coherent message im seeing being male pattern baldness to tie it all together which is both obvious and stupid. Some celebrities dont care if they lose hair, and celebrities buy and use the same crap the rest of us do. Some respond, and some dont. Big deal.

I would say it is not natural for us to evolve this way but then again who am I to say.

However, it is clear that by the way we have been living our lives for years upon years has by and large been detrimental to our health regardless of our increased life expectancy. This can not be argued.

As humans we are horribly out of balance. This is our doing.

No one could possibly argue that we are by and large healthy and prosperous beings. Regardless of todays increased life expectancy we have created an environment that now more than ever is poisonous to us in ways we seldom realize and we have the nerve to wonder why we lose our hair, get cancer or any other illness or disease.

It is our right to be inquisitive, sure but human existence needs a good slap in the face and accountability reaches back through the ages as much as it does now.

We have created a world that is not synergistic with our intended being and thus we have not evolved at a rate that matches our advancements in technology and agriculture for example (plus much, much more) over centuries of human existence.

Beliefs today are rock solid. Set in stone and limiting in every aspect f the manner that is why if I told you that it were possible to reverse hair loss by methods of thought of alterations of lifestyle you would probably scoff at the idea.

Such people have an easier time of believing that people can spontaneously enter remission concerning cancer rather than being able to reverse hair loss. Heck I know people who have done it on the cancer front but not a soul has done it for hair.

Principally its the same thing. We are talking about cellular influence after all. Restoring ones self to a previous genetic state. It can be done subject to what you believe.

this is the dumbest fcking piece of sh*t thread ever in this forum.

Evolution favors favorable traits you stupid bastard, HAIR is a favorable trait. Look at half the losers on this forum who are virgins. Thats natural selection in its rawest form. Their not having children anytime soon...whereas people with hair and cofidence are fcking like rabbits and spreading their favorable genes.

Youre a stupid fcking idiot whoever started this thread You moron. Baldness is an unfavorable trait. If left to anarchy and survival of the fittest bald men stand a far less chance of reproducing you moron...thats evolution for you...baldness should be eradicated offf the face of the earth but the problem is men bald later in life for the most part which makes them still appealing mates while they have hair and thus their able to spread their bald genes to their offspring.

STOP talking out of your asses and making it seem like bald men are the new trend for the season. SHUT UP already......Of COURSE bald men get women, but IT IS STILL NOT A TRAIT that is beneficial. IT is detrimental no matter how you friggin spin it. and if you lack hair, you have to make up for it in other departments. Noone deep down wants their child to be bald. IT IS NOT a favorable trait which will always make women turned off..so bald men must compensate in other aspects which is fine.. but dont you dare pull crap out of your *** and spin it like people are going more bald today than 50 years ago so it must be evolution at work. ANd furthermore you assholes probably werent alive 50 years ago to prove whether your statement holds any validity. Im sure back 50 years ago people were bald at the same age they are now. youre just spewing the same recycled garbage you read from other posts with no scientific proof. YOU morons, evolution doesnt even work like that anyways.

Im drunk and so annoyed when i read this stupid crap. Sorry in advance if im being too blunt.

JayB, you are wrong, in apes, males with male pattern baldness are generally selected by females over ones without male pattern baldness, are you applying US / Western characteristics to evolution and natural selection that do no apply

Yeah there is no theory that says women select men with hair over those that dont. It seems like a lot of girls do that today, but it certainly wasnt always like that. It evolved for some reason or another we will never know for sure. My theory is that the media shapes young kids minds and plants images of ideal men in little kids minds and that image is shaped over time with experience.

For the record, balding people throwing out insults like "horseshoe boy" and "chrome dome" better watch out in a couple of years when those words may start getting thrown back in their faces, regardless of how many treatments taken. DNA is unstoppable.

Also, absolutely none of JayB's post is true.

Is pretty close to the truth. How many of us want our sons to inherit baldness? About nil. How many of us would rather have great hair genes and keep our hair all of our lives? Yep, about all of us.

How many of us would be interested in a woman who was going bald, front to back? Yup, very very few.

Baldness, like acne, psoriasis, big pores, thin hair, scrawny bodies, propensity to obesity, bad teeth, stuck-out ears, small genitalia, body odor, is NOT A FAVORABLE TRAIT.

You can indeed compensate by being trim and fit and having a nice face, and using skin care prodcuts so you have good skin, and you can dress tastefully, be economically successful and have a nice car.........................................but it still is not a "favored" trait.

There are some women out there who absolutely wont date a balding man. Ive seen some ads in the personals from really hot chicks that explicity said they did NOT want a man with any kind of male pattern baldness and wanted a man with a full head of hair. They actually stated that. So some women view it as a dealbreaker, alot of others dont.

Its as if you met a chick with a face you liked, but she was prone to obesity or had bad teeth that were yellow and unstraight. Those teeth might piss you off so much, you elect to go out with a chick with a lesser face and bod, but perfect teeth.

I know this is strong water, but its the UGLY TRUTH.

Fortunately, teeth can be fixed now, acne can pretty much be fixed now, and unless your genes are horrible, obesity can be fixed now. But baldness can simply be avoided with treatments for a few decades. But it is being worked on from several angles.

MY advice? Again, if it bothers you, peruse treatments to delay it until there is a cure, but dont get a transplant, because then you will have to have a cure

good post, michael barry.

so thats true...some hot women dont want a guy with any signs of hairloss?

in fact...everyone has hairloss. noone has really perfect hair. there are always gaps between the hairs. there people with dense , people with medium, people with thin hair.

actually i know a girl with thin hair. not that anyone expect me would see that...but she has. but still she is hot.

so what is the problem with a little diffuse thinning? or temples? many guys have temples who dont have male pattern baldness.

and most in here are like this.

what you dont see cant bother you....

so i think these chicks would have sex with me aswell.

its tough to have male pattern baldness....

i know why i treat it...

though male pattern baldness is not the same like acne. i think everyone finds acne ugly. but some chicks like male pattern baldness.

like, what if Vin Diesel was as skinny as he was in that breakdancing video(google it) and never had a breakthru role in a movie? Do you think people would be shaving their heads and going to the gym, or doing the newest combover?

Nowadays, if you are bald, you are not at least a bit fit, and/or you got an ugly head or "dents", then good luck. Chances are 50 years ago it was more or less the same case, but who cares?
