So i recently noticed thinning the past couple of months. My hairline is far from perfect, I started using rogaine liquid 5 percent, and started propecia this morning along with Nizoral. Here's my current top look i had just shaved my head and it is also wet. I'll try to keep a monthly progress and photo for those interested. Wish my luck.


Rogaine 1ml in the am and 1ml night
Propecia 1mg daily

So I'm a month and almost 2 weeks in as for sides from the medication watery seamen, and a bit of testicle pain in the beginning. As far as the hair goes I had a pretty good shed in the beginning pretty sure it was from minoxidil,as of right now hair loss seemed to have stopped. I buzzed my head to a number one and pretty shocked to see just how bad my hairloss actually was. Now it's hoping for some thickening all over my dome. Here's another photo of my head with minoxidil liquid in.

little over 10 weeks heres some more pics. i believe my hair is slightly longer than my first post. my hair feels like its getting thicker in certain areas, the texture of my hair feels dry sometimes later int he day after applying minoxidil. i've been using the foam. still early in the game hoping to thicken up eventually.

you catched it at a very good time... people taking pics of their hair wet is deceiving. everyone looks like they are thinning when their hair is wet, as you will see scalp no matter what. even if finasteride and MIN allows you to keep what you had in the very first pic you posted, you should be happy. it does look thicker for sure though. good job not being one of the people who b**ch and whine about meds not working when they waited until they were a NW4 to do something about it

Nothing to report last till till I start month 4 just depressing applying the liquid to my hair these days since I'm letting it grow out till New Years it looks like ****. So after New Years I'm buzzing it to a number one for a couple of months will be easier to apply the minoxidil and I won't have to worry about how the hair looks when going out. Use minoxidil liquid at night and foam when you go out. It dries fast and actually acts kind of like a mousse and holds hair style you want.

Hey guys it's been awhile. Little update I got my Doctor to write me 5mg rx of proscar instead of renewing my 1mg at 62$ a month. I brought my new one to walmart I now pay 10$ Every 4 months since I split them in quarters. I also added biotin 2weeks ago. As for minoxidil I can't say that I've been consistent but I have been the last couple of weeks here's my update let me know what you think.hairs wet and combed up in the third to show thinning areas.

Not sure how thick you hair was before you started losing it, but it looks good with the exception of the crown thinning. Continue to stick with treatments and hopefully it will fill up. At least you jumped on treatments early and gave yourself a good shot at recovery. It is also good that you seem pretty comfortable shaving your head.
