I really do hope so. If I could maintain for that long there's a chance I might beat male pattern baldness with upcoming treatments. What Norwood were you destined to be and I'm assuming you're takjng finasteride etc now?

I'm not taking anything. I have knock knock on wood quite good hair, like I said slight thinning on the left.
I dont know. My father is 65 with a nw3. So if im lucky I follow his steps. Im already doing it with prematurely white hairing tho xD

Family history is an indicator but not a reliable one. Sometimes baldness pops up out of nowhere. Often brothers can have very different patterns of hair loss. I knew a man who had a full head of hair at 54, yet one of his brothers had been completely bald since the age of 20. Another example is Prince William and Prince Harry who have very different rates of hair loss. If you look at the hair loss patterns among your two grandfathers, your father, and your maternal and paternal uncles, it should give you a rough idea of what your own hair loss pattern might be. Although as I say, you can't know for sure. It is pretty much pot luck which genes you get and which you don't get.

Yea it's tricky as f***. My friend who is almost 29 has 2 brothers, one older and one younger...so he is the middle child. The older one who is 30 is a diffuse thinner. My friend the middle one has a perfect hairline with no thinning...and the youngest is 22-23 with a pretty severe difuse thinning.
