I just started taking finasteride :/ You're over here making me want to quit it.
Wtf are you anti-finasteride now? I've been on it nearly a year and my dicks never been stronger (albeit with some better lifestyle choices in anticipation of finasteride messing with it)
Remember poster above, less than 5% of finasteride takers get ED, some studies as low as 2%. You're risking being 1 out of 20 at worst, and if you are unlucky then you just stop.
It only reduces 70% DHT in the scalp. It kind of is a joke. Because even for the people who don't get the side effects, the
DHT is going to do it's damage in a matter of time.
Question about finasteride- if you shed hair due to the drug, does that hair grows back afterwards?
There's an article on the same nih website. It was done on men who already have PFS. If I remember it correctly, it was talking about neuron effects.
Keep in mind in the US, lot's of people are getting their doctorate, so they need "thesis" statement to post. In other words, take it with a grain of salt.
It may or may not be factual.
I guess it's important to know the calculations though, I admit I'm still confused. What I will say is that I've definitely seen inflated anti-finasteride stats and articles, but even for research defending finasteride it's hard to know what's real.
Is there like a finasteride megathread for this kinda thing? The only articles I've read from this forum are fairly anecdotal and inconclusive, even if interesting.

(notice the lack of hair and privilege of hair in the right comic)
You got ED from finasteride?Oh man, with my short time while using finasteride, how true the first image is.... I would take the 2nd scenario in a heartbeat.
finasteride makes my sex drive 15% bigger, not smaller. I think men may get sides off of finasteride if they already aren't so masculine (low testosterone), you know the type of guy who worries over everything (some call them "beta")
