Been on minoxidil since I noticed thinning 2 years ago- just started finasteride 1 week ago. minoxidil was losing its effective it seemed like 6 months ago or so as the thinning accelerated- what's lipogaine and has there been a lot of success with it?

As far as i know lipogaine is just minoxidil which has some other things added into it which has no effect whatsoever. It dries quickly and thats the only good thing about it. Success is only because of minoxidil and people always prefer generics due to the cost and also the results are same.

Thats not True ! Some other things are most likely dht blocker and I also use lipogaine and got very good results in compare to Rogaine , I also have my before and after pic , if you read the reviews on amazon , you will see many people who are verified purchase got many good result from that , Lipogaine is the best minoxidil compound which I have ever use.

Yes I agree with you on that , I don't know why people says it dries very quickly , Maybe the feeling is better than regular minoxidil but after it dries it makes my hair like messed together and difficult to style , But I got used to it. do you still use it ? whats your result with that? I've got my best regrowth with lipogaine so far. its really powerful .

What dht blockers are you talking about? I'd like to know more about it. I haven't read any reviews on lipogaine. Read about it on other forums and they said that it was just an overpriced crap!

Maybe it's better than regular minoxidil, but it can't be a big difference, minoxidil is the main stuff.
If the other ingredients were to make a big contribution, probably we'd see succes stories based only on them. But we don't.
And i don't trust topical DHT blockers very much. If they were good, finasteride would be history.
So it's quite overpriced.

IMO lipogaine is from another of the several companies that were banking off hair loss sufferers after Dr. Lee went out of business. They used to state they had azelaic acid in their minoxidil, but have since either removed it or put it under another name (azetinol or something)

I would just use plain old rogaine or a generic

Hi warner8 , How are you doing in nice NYC ? I Love the city , lol , Honestly when I start to use lipogaine they already removed the azelaic acid so all of result which I've got was from after that , at first I used that for 4 months and I got very good regrowth and then I stopped using that and lost lots of hair , from 2 months ago I started again to use it and in less than 1 month I got many good regrowth with lipogaine , Its not a miracle but it works for me , after waiting for 6 months I will may switch to promox which is available again , has 15 % minoxidil , azelaic , progesterone , finasteride and tretinoin , looks good , isn't it?

Sure , I would be happy to help you .
These are the ingredients of lipogaine :
Water, propylene glycol, ethanol, minoxidil 5%, azelaic acid,Lipogaine for Men retinol, saw palmetto extract, beta-sitosterol, oleic acid, linolenic acid, apple polyphenol, biotin, niacin, adenosine, vitamin B6 and B12, phosphatidycholine .

as you see all saw palmetto , beta sitosterol and oleic and linoelnic acid work as DHT blockers , I also have very good result and regrowth with lipogaine . I don't know
why people do not give that enough time and do not talk about that , that much on forum , on amazon I see always people who are verified purchase come and write
about their satisfactions and their regrowth , even if some people don't believe that as I mentioned I got good result and regrowth with that. I may post my pics on this
forum if people are serious to see my results. I love to share that.every treatment can work or can't work for someone , So if you don't like to try lipogaine I highly suggest you to try Promox which is really powerful minoxidil 15 % by dr.klein , it came back to market again and you can order that .

I agree the hair gets wet and then clumps making it look thinner I think I only used 1 bottle of it. It took me a while to realise I was allergic to propylene glycol anyway so I now use Dualgen 15 no PG at night and Kirkland foam in the morning
