doesnt change the fact that raising the dht lvl eg through injecting can speed up and accelerate the balding process

lets pretend we can clone a person three times aka all of them have the exact same distribution and numbers of adrogen receptors

now 1 of them injects dht

the second one does nothing

and the third takes finasteride

which one do you think will go bald first

Depends on the individual. We've seen cases on this forum of finasteride triggering and accelerating male pattern baldness.

"After knowing the above, it doesn’t come as that big of a surprise that in the study of Umeda et al. 483mg alpha-tocopherol fed to humans – and 1,500mg of the same stuff fed to rodents – increased total, free, plasma, and tissue testosterone levels quite nicely.

Testosterone aside, there are some other hormonal benefits to vitamin E too, such as the fact that it’s an antagonist to the estrogen receptorsand effectively reduces serum estrogen levels, while also suppressing prolactin levels and improving prostatic health without negatively affecting the enzyme 5-a reductase and DHT."

You're quoting irrelevant science and thus spreading misinformation.

That study on vitamin E and prolactin? It's a study of uremic patients on hemodialysis. It's not relevant to the people here.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1490755

The study of vitamin E on serum estrogen wasn't done by measuring the serum estrogen levels of men given supplemental vitamin E, and such the link label is false. What they did is that they gave supplemental vitamin E in combination with supplemental lycopene to rats with prostate cancer.

The findings of shifted expression, etc, were in the tumor tissue itself.

I don't know and I dismiss it as irrelevant.

The only valid reason to take vitamin E supplements is if you're deficient in vitamin E. If you're eating almonds, spinach, beets, pumpkin, fish, etc then you should be fine.

is hgh really harmful for balding?

it can raise insulin resistance but is insulin resistance really a cause for hairloss or more a correlation?

Dude, think about it. More free testosterone is converted to estrogen. IT IS ESTROGENIC.

I agree. Some of the most androgenic humans in the planet (middle eastern men and women) have f*****g amazing hair. It’s all about your genetics and how sensitive your follicles are.

lol wut Arab and Persian men, Egyptian and Persians in particular, are f*****g famous sufferers of the male pattern. Most Egyptian and Persian men get to NW3 or worse before 30. Iraqi, Syrian, Palestinian and Leb men mostly go bald by 40.

I’m saying that racially, they are all pretty androgenic, but not all of them are bald.

Not sure about supplements, however all anti-psychotics cause hair loss, the anti-psychotics are given out as anti-anxiety pills these days which is an abomination and is making things worse. Also most medications cause hairloss regardless. G-d gave us the most advanced organic system and we should trust our body to keep us alive. It's done it well enough for the past 3000 years without medications, I don't see why we won't go on without it.

why is it that a lot of people seem to think that any study done is gospel truth and is always 100% accurate?

Ephedrine, constricts blood vessels, releases and acts like norepinephrine, can increase cortisol.

Haven't noticed anything personally from ephedrine but i only use it on days pre workout that i'm super tired

Isn't caffeine supposed to be good for hair and it's a vasoconstrictor as well?

Well caffeine topically is supposed to be good but the studies are a little shady and may act differently when applied topically. Caffeine systemically has no effect on terms of hair.
