Long term Finasteride sides?

Is there any evidence of the long term side effects of finasteride? Is it likely to cause cancer later in life, or are you much more prone to get ED later in life due to finasteride? What scares me with Finasteride is that, let's say I get no sides for 5 years on the drug, then start getting big sides so am forced to come off finasteride after 5 years, your hairloss would probably accelerate more than if you never even took finasteride in the first place.

I see a lot of people say "Imagine your hair in 5 years from now, would you want your hair to be like that?, if you answer no, then jump on the finasteride" I don't agree with this because imagine having erectile dysfunction in 5 years from now and then losing more hair due to coming off of finasteride, that is even worse.

It's either take a generous 5-7% chance of being worse off in 5 years due to propecia sides or 100% chance of being worse in 5 years. Regarding serious life threatening sides propecia will not kill you or reduce life expectancy.

Sides include maintaining hair and not being invultarely celibate due to the side of effect of being bald and creepy to women.
