Long term minoxidil users

Hey was just wondering if theres any long term minoxidil users who would be able to help me,iv bein using regaine foam 5% for just over 3 years now on its own and i was wondering does anyone ever think they exsperience sheds every so oftern? Recently i feel asif my hairloss has really picked up on my crown area and im sure this has happend before and its got better over time and then got worse again,but recently its looking the worst iv ever sein it,i no people will say you need to be on propecia but that isnt an option for me so was just wondering if theres any other long term users out there that can help me out thanks

I felt that shedding increased whenever I let my hair grow longer... Currently my sides are pretty bald but my front fringe is still thick enough to cover them up. But I have noticed increased shedding for sure. Couldd also be the season - more shedding during summer

I hope so i also find the sides of my head the hair is like wire all kinky and sparse its really anoyying because i want to try grow it out a little but it always looks bad,im hoping its a sesonal shed but 3 years on minoxidil maybe its starting to loose its effectiveness

Thing you have to remember is me and you are far more paranoid about it than others. Few of my friends would even describe me as "balding" and barely notice it...but my hairline sides are already gone, with bald patches devoid of hair. It's definitely thin and sometimes you can see my scalp under the light...

Right now Im sporting a long fringe with shaved sides and back..Im actually surprised how well it looks though my hair is curly.
If you have straight hair even better, more than likely your top will still be thick enough to give a nice appearance. The contrast to the shaved sides and back also play in your favour. And you get a nice, alternative, festival-ready look!

Yeah you are right the first thing i look at in the mirror is my hair is like im so paranoid by it it drives me crazy,your style sounds similar to mine

Just curious btw why is Propecia out of the question for you?

Im not using it, as even 2% of side effects seems high.
Anything that messes with my hormones moods or libido is worse than being bald lol.

Exsactly the same reason with me i dont want to be messing with my hormones and i think its way more than 2% from all posts i seeon forums it just scares me and id be super paranoid all the time,even when people say a common sideeffect its watery seamen thats enough for me to say nooo way that just sounds like somethings wrong if its making your seamen watery but thats just me id rather just shave it than risk that.

I use Finasteride 1mg but cut it in half 0.5mg once a day. I had side effects with 1mg but not with 0.5mg so you should be safe if you just cut it down.
