Women love men who are 30 or look 30'ish. Its actually a man's peak. Even girls in there late teens are attracted to 30 year old men. (not all but alot) I would be more worried when they say you look 40! 30 is not a problem. Just start looking after yourself from now on by eating healthy etc, to slow the aging process.

A 5 year difference is hardly anything to worry about.

Your over stressing this. 5 years really isn't anything.

Sometimes I see people I haven't seen in ages. There like you look so young!.. Then I see someone else I haven't seen in forever. There like dude!.. You get any sleep you look so old..

I even got Steve Buscemi once.... Not a lot of sleep the night before :)

So yea nothing worth fretting over.

five years is nothing, a 43 year old and a 21 year old is a different story. I can't bring myself to the thought of dating a cougar.

Is that so? So, this year I am at my peak? Physically I don't feel it, but mentally I am somehow sharper than before. I was talking to some of my younger colleagues who are in their late 20s and are supposed to be good at what they are doing, I was surprised at the lack of knowledge they had. So, I'm actually happy with the way I am maturing for now.

Back to the original subject: There isn't much difference between 25 and 30. I always looked a year or two older than I was, but my look has leveled a bit and I believe I look 30 now. It could be that I am much lighter now, I am the same weight I was when I was 17 (my pre-binge drinking years).

I have a question to the forum participants: I have read and heard from many places that as we get older we need less sleep. In your experience, can you do with less sleep now than before? If I don't get at least 7 hours of proper sleep, I get very moody and I feel tired. If I sleep 8 hours every night, I can get away with 6 hours of sleep now and then, but on average I need 7-8 hours of sleep.... My experience tells me that all those experts saying that adults don't need 8 hours regular sleep are lying.

A quote from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep

The National Sleep Foundation in the United States maintains that eight to nine hours of sleep for adult humans is optimal and that sufficient sleep benefits alertness, memory and problem solving, and overall health, as well as reducing the risk of accidents.[7] A widely publicized 2003 study[8] performed at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine demonstrated that cognitive performance declines with fewer than eight hours of sleep.

However, a University of California, San Diego psychiatry study of more than one million adults found that people who live the longest self-report sleeping for six to seven hours each night.[9] Another study of sleep duration and mortality risk in women showed similar results.[10] Other studies show that "sleeping more than 7 to 8 hours per day has been consistently associated with increased mortality", though this study suggests the cause is probably other factors such as depression and socio-economic status which would correlate statistically. [11] It has been suggested that the correlation between lower sleep hours and reduced morbidity only occurs with those who wake after less sleep naturally, rather than those who use an alarm.

I don't get it. The optimal is 8-9 hours, but if I can train myself to sleep 6-7 hours I will live longer. How? This is really bugging me.

Wearing a cap and a hoodie I went to buy some beer for a party on tuesday, I got I.D'd I'm nearly 34!!!
Wearing the same I got stopped by one of those annoying market researchers she asked my age when I told her she was like WTF !! :freaked:
This is the reason it was so bad for me to be a nw6 in my late 20's. Face of a baby - hair of a 70 yr old it was too weird looking.

I look 18 with baseball caps and sometimes wear them backwards. I have teenage girls checkin me out. Without the hat I look 35 and I get no looks.
