Who's taken the dutasteride, and seen positive results?

I'm on propecia, and it's simply not doing enough.

I would love to do something else.
Especially interested in Dutasteride having positive effect not on hairline perse but on front and horseshoe. And on thinning of sides.

What has dutasteride done for you!

Here's a link to my story:

Its pretty old, but basically i'm still holding strong thanks to this regimen.

Although a couple of things i'll mention:

1) I dropped MSM as it doesn't do anything (imo)
2) Not everyone can tollerate dutasteride, plenty of people on here don't like it & say it destroys your hair line (It didn't to me and I think its been a great drug for me)
3) Find a regimen that works & stick with it! I've chopped and changed mine and its not as effecitve if you start messing about with it.

However be warned.... dutasteride stays in your system for a long time (about 6 months I think), and as I plan on starting a family in the next year i've stopped taking it as of last week. I'm now taking finasteride, and am awaiting some Revivogen and will add that once it arrives. So just be aware that the half life of it is very long (compared to finasteride), so you need to plan ahead for things like having kids etc (imo)

There has never once been anything beyond anecdotal (without pictures too) evidence that dutasteride "destroys hairlines" and there's little to no evidence it should or does.

I don't know if this is coincidental but Glaxo are recruiting for phase III trials for dutas and the interesting thing is if i remember correctly they're looking for norwoods 3 to 5.
