I think you need to keep an eye on it for sure. You are still young, but that is a lot of shedding and a somewhat thin crown for your age.
Try to wash hair every other day rather than every day. Us guys tend to wash hair too often, which is terrible for it.

What does the hair look like on mother's side of the family? Have any uncles on her side with baldness?

Crown looks a little thin, but it's impossible for us to say. We don't know if your hair has always been like that or not.

Different angle, brushed differently, wet. Who knows. Considering your family history, take pictures in the same spot, same lighting, and make sure to use the same angle every few months to compare. Right now your hair looks good so there's no need to worry unless it gets worse. If there's any change go see a dermatologist. They won't give you finasteride at your age, but they will give a script for ketoconazole which isn't nearly as effective, but will help you. You really don't want to start minoxidil if you're not actually balding.

am i likely to go bald?

Your hairline and overall density look good to me. It's normal to lose over 100 hairs a day, and even more if you haven't washed your hair in a few days, so I wouldn't be worried just yet.

Your hair looks great to me, if it worry’s you start finasteride when you turn 18 just to maintain what you have and maybe get some regrowth.

Yes, from the bathroom photos this is classic Androgenetic Alopecia. Try pulling hair from your sides and top without being in the shower, see if any come off. Try lightly playing with ur hair, see if any hair fall off. Notice if there is any itch after shower, btw do u blow dry ur hair after shower?

My advice for u is this: go do a blood test and check your thyroid (T4, T3, FT4, FT3, TSH, ANTITPO) and iron. Also, cut your hair short, very short, close to buzzed. It helps mentally.
Pull my hair from the top and they do come off...my hair does itch after shower.. no i dont blow dry my hair.im only 16 .if its true and i do have male pattern baldness why would thyroid levels and iron matter.I have a baby face and fat cheeks although i am not fat at all and cutting it buzzed is a real no no

So I assume u leave ur hair wet sometimes after shower. Or use a towel and violently brush it on ur hair and it feels nice because of the itch. I know all this because my baldness started like that. Cutting ur hair short looks terrible in ur eyes it’s because ur skin is so baby-like. Once we grow older this changes and what seemed like a giant forehead for example is now a normal forehead. Anyway, I won’t get into that but cut it short because it helps psychologically. Thyroid levels may be out of whack and the sooner u fix them the sooner hair loss will stop, in theory. Prolonged hypothyroidism or hashimotos can turn a temporary hair loss into a diffuse Androgenetic Alopecia. Do what I tell u and do it fast. Iron etc is to see if u have some deficiency that’s causing a temporary hair loss although I can tell u already that’s not it.

If u have thyroid problem and u probably do since ur cheeks are puffy as u say, u will need to go on therapy for life, choose Tyrosint and not generic/low cost thyroxine. You will obviously discuss this with ur doctor. I suppose u also sweat easily?

Assuming u go on thyroid medication, u will need to wait 6 months to find the right dosage and stabilize yourself. Stay away from any hair loss product by then. If hair loss doesn’t stabilize and continue to worsen, ur only choice is Finasteride and it is also for life.

I’d say calm down for now and take it step by step.

yes i do sweat extremely easily.so should i go see a regular doctor i always go to with my mum?

It is genetic baldness. From what geographic zone were your ancestors?
