Hello i'm new to this forum so i'm sorry if i didn't post this in the right place.
My hair loss started at 16 from what I noticed. The top of my head the crown is where there is a lot missing. And just in general everywhere over the top of my head is thinning. Its not just the crown. The only people in my family who have hair problems are on my dads side. My dad has the standard crown and M hairline with general thinning over the top and his brother is bald. family on my moms side family seems fine and even my grandpa on my moms side has a good head of hair where I wouldn't think he worries about balding much. As far as genetics go I believe the hair loss would come from my dads side. Being 17 this is really making my confidence go down and replies will be well appreciated. I did loss a lot of weight 4-7 months back and some people say hair will shed more when you do lose a lot of weight and I did restrict myself on calories. But it still makes me worry because my dads hair with the general thinning over the top and crown looks like what mine will look like. Anyways, whoever reads this thank you for taking your time to read this.
I will also lose hair whenever styling my hair. And losing probably around 20-30 hours in the shower from what I
can see. I don't really notice any hair on my pillow but it mostly falls out when its being maneuvered like being in the shower and styling it.
