Losing My Hair At Only 17 Years Old?

Hello. I am worried about my hairloss and wanted to make a thread. I am 17 years old and I started noticing more hair loss than usual back in August 2018. At first I freaked out because I immediatly thought I was balding. The shedding was consistent and didn't stop everyday. I want to make it as quick as possible so fast forward 8 months later the shedding has not stopped. Throughout this time I have suspected different causes but the most common and worrying is male pattern baldness. In the pictures you can see my hairline and my crown. One thing I am sure about is my hairline has definitely not changed throughout this time and neither has my crown. So I have suspected diffuse thinning but this also seems very unlikely since I have very little family history of baldness(from my mother's I am not even kidding but no one is beyond nw2, my grandpa was a nw1. From my father's side there is some history of baldness, but no one is bald and those who have hair loss have classic male pattern baldness). This leads me to my question. What can be the cause of hairloss at such a young age? I know mpd is a very common cause but please don't be quick to say jump on finestaride and such as many people in this site tend to do. I want a genuine opinion on my hair loss so I am prepared for the course of action. I also should mention that my hair's density has not changed and it feels the same. Also my crown might look thinner then usual because I combed my hair in a way to show my crown clearly. Any opinion is greatly appreciated.

Your hair looks good from what I see in the pics.

If your worried on your third pic. its normal for the temple sides to look thin. That doesnt mean MBP.

Thanks for the reply. What about the increased shedding I've had during this time? I did not use to shed this much until August 2018. What can be a potential cause for the hair loss and potential solutions?

How did you know you didn't shed that much before? Were you closely monitoring it?

Well, before when I combed my hair there were a very little amount of hairs in the comb. Don't know the number but it was very unnoticibale and it never caught my attention. Beginning of August 2018 I combed my hair like I usually did and the sink had an unusual amount of hair that even my cousin told me I shedded a lot. In showers its much worse and the I instantly noticed the shedding back then. The way I absolutely knew that I was shedding much more then usual was when I took a comb and ran it once from the front to the back of my scalp. There were like 4-5 hairs in comb from just that one run whereas before that would be the total amount of hair lost in one combing session. So what can be the causes of this increased shedding?

I don't think you're experiencing an increase in shedding. You noticed a lot of hair once and now every time you shed a hair you're gonna notice it and pay close attention to it. Your hairline and temples are good and your hair is thick so if this has been happening for 8 months and your hair hasn't changed you shouldn't worry.

Thanks for the input man. While I agree that since I noticed more shedding than usual I have been on the lookout for the amount of hairs I lose, I genuinely have been shedding more hair. Before when I used to apply product to my hair I did not notice any hair fall, I am sure of this as when I put more product in my hands there were no hairs there. Now when I run my hands through my head to apply the product there is a noticable number of hairs in my hand. Also on the morning comb I loss about 30-40 hairs, sometimes more then that(depends on different days). I am not implying that I have the worst case of hair loss or anything but there ks certainly a factor that is causing the increased amount of hairs lost.
