Maintained With finasteride, Addition Of Ru Like Steroids For My Hair

Rapidly diffuse shedding resulted in me starting finasteride and minoxidil March of 2016. I saw a derm November of the same year and came to the conclusion that I would never see regrowth and that my scalp density was all but lost. I added RU58841 four months ago and I've been mixing 3 grams of powder per 60 ml bottle of liquid minoxidil. Please note that in the after picture of the side of my head with a scar there's a good bit of light glare on the screen but in reality that whole area has filled-in.

Nice! Congratulations on your results. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? And for how long have you been experiencing male pattern baldness? Any side effects?

Thanks.

I just turned 33. Hair loss was never a major concern until it suddenly hit like freight train nearly two years ago. I had erectile issues the first two months of finasteride but I have 0 issues maintaining an erection or becoming aroused since then. As far as the RU is concerned, no side effects worth noting so far. I did have some issues with weight gain when I first started finasteride but I've maintained my weight using a keto diet since.

I mix batches every 5 days in a glass vial. .5 grams of RU powder combined with 10 ML of Kirkland liquid minoxidil. I use 1.5 ml in the morning for my whole scalp and then .5 at night for my temples (rogaine foam on the rest).

I purchased the RU from Kane.. I figured it was baby powder at first but nothing else in my regimen has changed in nearly two years so RU is the only logical explanation for the sudden thickening.

UPDATE - I started dermarolling 3 months ago and I have hairs sprouting from an area that's been barren for over 10 years.

I needle 1x weekly using a 1.5mm attachment for my derminator.

Looks good. Would you say that the dermarolling is the main reason for this?

I didn't have any new growth along the hairline (and especially that far down) with RU. Within a couple of weeks of needling I started to see patches of fuzz emerging.

Not an aggressive Androgenetic Alopecia. I am very happy for you. Must be a relief.

if you are using a derminator you dermastamp, not dermaroll

dermarolling is f*****g retarded

i have never tried any derma-anything, i may buy a derminator

I just dont understand why the f*** these guys dont advertise themselves as a hairloss related product too

What depth do you use? you said 1.5mm, but there's also speed, what about that? this looks like some hi-tech sh*t

My bad.. I meant to say that I stamp using the 1.5mm attachment at a medium speed setting (slow is TOO slow and fast is too painful for me to handle).

To the next poster.. I used a dermaroller ONE time on my scalp and it basically shredded my hair like a lawnmower. Your mileage may vary but since using the derminator I have no signs of severed hair when I look with a digital microscope.
