Hello all, I've been considering trying topical spironolactone for a few months now. What it comes down to for me is how much it slows down hair loss. To be more specific, how many years (or months?) does it add to the time you have with your current hair. Thanks for any info you have regarding this.

Its impossible to answer your question....IT is quite possible that it will be fairly ineffective esp. if used alone. You have to keep in mind that there is no specific treatment that will work for everyone and while topical spironolactone is a good weapon against hair loss youre best bet for LONG-term maintenance would be finasteride or dutasteride.
