Male 18 Not Sure If Mature Or Receding

My hairline changed about 2 years ago and I didn’t even notice until this time last year when some guy at school told me I have a receding hairline and I have obsessed pretty much every day over it causing severe psoriasis and many of my family members and barbers say my hairline is fine but I can’t seem to let go of it. That’s the type of person I am unfortunately. The psoriasis has definitely caused scratching and irritation of the scalp so doesn’t help either. But overall my hair is pretty thick and there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of thinning.

It’s basically looked like that for 2 years now, I didn’t even notice because my juvenile hairline was higher than normal so the change wasn’t drastic. Thank you for your input

Thank you what a relief, he is actually a huge prick and says to a lot of guys that their hairlines are receding even my best friend who’s probably a Norwood 1. The problem is a lot of guys my age don’t know what a mature hairline is so if your hairline matures they automatically think it’s receding and insult you. Tbh I think he’s really self conscious about his own hair so he puts others down to feel better. I think I have BDD and that stress from him being a prick caused my psoriasis

The amount of anxious young full heads on here at the moment is ridiculous. At 18 I was living life to the full and taking my hair for granted. Don’t waste this time obsessing about a non-problem FFS.

What makes me anxious is some of the guys at school who think they know everything and tell me I have a receding hairline when they don’t even know what a mature hairline is. I was perfectly happy with my hair and I didn’t even know what a receding hairline was until the one guy told me I apparently have one
