So I recently noticed that my hairline has changed since I was a kid. Just wondering if you guys think it is male pattern baldness or just normal recession. No one in my family is bald. My Dad's hair is thinning, but he is also 55 so yeah. Here are some pictures:

You seem to also be diffuse thinning at the front of your hairline, which is a really bad sign. Classic male pattern baldness.

I had bright light shining on my head in the picture with my hair really short, so it makes it look like diffuse thinning, but I have extremely thick hair everywhere on my head. I'll post another picture.

Here I am with long hair that I cut about a month ago(SUPER THICK) . And Yes born and raised in Seattle, not a bandwagon fan.

male pattern baldness.

that third picture highlights the pattern your male pattern baldness is heading.

u can ever so slightly see the different pigmentation in hair, and how a NW3 is in formation, and in future and island will form.

I want to reiterate this; I do not have diffuse thinning, only recession at the temples. No one on either side of my family is balding. The third picture I took had light directly on top of my head.

But still, you're balding.

I've looked at a lot of other men's faces and scalps in my lifetime. You have male pattern baldness. Of this, I am certain.

Here is a picture without a bright light directly on top of my scalp. Do you guys still think I have diffuse thinning going on? I'm not denying I don't have male pattern baldness, but I am almost certain that I do not have thinning hair anywhere besides my temples. I believe this because when my hair is long it is very thick in all places on top of my scalp.

I started propecia about a month ago, only with the hopes to at least keep the hairline I have, as I think it is not that bad.
