This isn't though

No way he could get that coverage from what he had back in 06. I'm sure they probably spruced it up a bit for the movie, but I have thought for a while that he had gotten something done.

Looks like leading men have to have a negative Norwood number.

This hair looks as natural as that green carpet you see on apt balconies.

Timothy Olyphant has had some work done as well.I wonder how he has managed to retain that widow's peak for 13 years and pretty recently it has become thick too.I have to say whoever did that transplant, has done a fine job.

I am also pretty sure that guys like Christian Slater,Sly,Robert Carlyle,Ewan McGregor and Andy Garcia have had some work done.

For the love of God they are human beings too!! It would be interesting to know the ones who use stuff like Rogaine,Propecia and Nizoral :hump:

They have all those Beverly hill docs. Need to get buffed- here's some roid's, along with a diet, blood tests and a personal trainer. need hair, here's everything you can handle- finasteride, nizoral, minoxidil, trainsplants, whatever, along with a personal stylist that can do a hair weave for the spots that don't take so well. However, all this fussing has it's limits, and when the career goes south, the little holes in all this maintenance start popping up- look at Mickey Rourke, for an extreme example, or Sly Stallone.

Don't forget, they do a great job with weaves- look at Brendan Frasier. And they protect each other- they won't expose each others surgery, or it would all fall apart.

Finally, before you play the "if only" game, you have to realize that these people are already exceptionally good looking with or without their hair, usually, so, that's the way it goes. If you want to feel better, go to the mag rack and find the latest one of stars without makeup. That's right, no one is THAT good looking.

True enough. They have an abundance of money to help them along.

The results can be quite startling!

Keep in mind the first one is from on the red carpet and the other is a tv show screencap.

Celebs sure have it good, alright. They've got the fame, big money and in most cases, looks.

I may not have any of that but I don't know about the hair part. I wouldn't want any particular celeb's hair, male or female, on my scalp. Back when I was an early teen...I was jealous of Scott Baio's and John Stamos' locks. Mel Gibson was the cool Lethal Weapon man we tried to emulate back then as well.

Well, nowadays, maybe Colin Farrell might be the only one I would trade manes with. He's a cool dude. And he's got a very cool mane, just wears it so many ways.

But his hair gets kinda oily and his system is severely ravaged with nicotine. He is just getting into his early 30s. As he gets to 40...it'll be interesting.

Yeah, celebs really got it going in a lot of ways...but sometimes we ordinary joes are lucky to like what we were born with. I don't style or use such products on my hair...just regular shampoo, towel pat and whatever comb stroke I feel like for the day.

I'm in my early 40s, BTW.

These forums have me worried though. I always read that the maternal grandpa is a factor in male pattern baldness. Mine lost his hair big time by 22. Maybe the skipping generation thing happened or dad's genetic side is somehow stronger. Oh, well. Enjoy it while ya got it.

So do people think that some of the celebs mentioned are wearing very good pieces or is it all just transplants in your opinion?

I thought it was impossible to get such drastic results from transplants like some of these celebs have been fortunate enough to achieve?

I personally think most of the leading men in Hollywood who suffer from male pattern baldness wear systems that are styled exceptionally well to prevent any exposure.

There are just so many before and after pictures floating around it's not funny.

C'mon champ, this isn't myspace, surely you can find somewhere else to be a camwhore? :)

Your whole post completely missed the point of this topic as well. Obviously the ordinary joes participating in this thread aren't lucky to like what they were born with and they don't have long hair in their 40's to 'enjoy while they have it'.

If you were fully bald I'm sure you'd reconsider how many celebrities hair do's you'd want to have... probably a bit complex for you to understand though evidently.

@ worldlyman

seeing more of your posts I would like to think you're a troll, but I can actually see gourmetstylewellness.com on your pc in one of the pics, so I have to ask what the f*** is wrong with you? You have hair better than Brad Pitt's and yet you've 11 posts on a hairloss site. BDD?!

I just remembered this guy: Billy Zane, most famous for playing the role of the 'evil' character in Titanic and the role of the Phantom in 'The Phantom'.

And he seems to have taken the buzzed route:

He seems comfortable with it.

think zane is similar to most guys, if youre dressed smart (ie- suit, shirt etc) then you can carry it off.

i know that personally im more likely to get compliments on how i look suited from other guys, with women the reaction is the same as always, friendly with no flirt.

Remember thats the guy who jogs inside his house on the carpet floor maybe he felt that people would be jealous of his "luscious" long hair and is probably trying to find out reactions of balding men by posting his thoughts here
