Whoever posted that he was balding you where right. I saw him on letterman just now and he is receding. His hair is weak in the front but he covers it with gel. His hair still looks pretty good and if he where to go on a regimen right now he would have great results.

But I just remember him in good will hunting a couple years ago and his hairline was perfect with thick incredible amazing hair so its kinda shocking to see him starting to lose. I actually have a better hairline then he does right now which surprises me.

Another casultie to male pattern baldness...

haha yeah, it's actually a huge conspiracy. EVERYONE in hollywood is either balding or wears a rug.

I think sometimes guys on the boards throw around the word 'balding' too loosely. My hair's been thinning for many years (until recently, minoxidil makey much better), but I sure don't consider myself to be 'balding'. And no, I'm not kidding meself, most times I've heard 'balding' used to describe people, they've already lost most of their hair. I doubt I'd be described as 'balding' by anyone.

As for Damon, I saw the interview too. His hair was cut very short, leaving his slightly receded temples exposed. If he let it grow-out some, even us guys who notice hairloss might not be aware of it. Very minor hairloss considering he's what, 32ish?

He's 33, going on 34, and his hairline has been that way since 2000 or so. He hosted a SNL episode where he wore his hair slicked back and showed some minor recession.

More than likely a mature hairline.

I agree the term "balding" is thrown about too loosely here. It makes the kids feel better, you know?

I also agree that it's f*****g hysterical that guys who just have good hairlines (not everyone goes NW7) are always accused of wearing a wig. Tom Cruise wears a wig, you know.

You can ALWAYS gauge the extent of someone's hairloss based soley on the celebrities they discuss. If you're discussing Matt Damon's "hairloss" problem, then your "hairloss" problem is probably no more than a mature hairline.

As for me, I'm over here discussing Kojak and Yul Brynner.

Cheers.

Tom Cruise? Ben Affleck? Wearing rugs? :freaked2: Do you guys have any scientific data backing this up? :freaked2:

Yea when I was watching the interview I was still thinking to myself he is in his 30's with minor recession. He is pretty lucky to just have minor recession by age 30. But its just shocking because he had awesome hair a couple years ago and now he is losing. Just kinda shocking.

Even if Damon IS losing his hair, it would probably by years before it progressed to the point where it would be noticeably bad. Which means he'd be a good candidate for a hair transplant.

I wanna know what kinda rugs they wear. Cause they look good. If i was never losing my hair I woulda never even suspected they have rugs.

I mean look at ben affleck. He has been in the spotlight for years with cameras following him around everywhere and people still can't really tell if he has a rug or not. That is pretty impresive.

I doubt I will ever go 100 percent bald because its not in my familys genes but If my hair gets bad I think I will just wear a rug cause I cant pull of the balding look. Its just not me.

I wonder how much they pay for their rugs. Cause some guys wear cheap rugs and its so obvous. Their rugs are top of the line. I wonder how much they pay a year for rugs like that.

WTF are u talking about? THere is no way in hell Matt Damon is balding. I'm in the entertainment business and have seen him with a buzz cut. He is not balding nor is he thinning or receding. He is an adult with a normal hairline.

Hyperbole/sarcasm/making fun of the insane psychos on this board who'll claim anyone with hair wears a piece or had work. :)

Fact is if you are able to keep a youthful head of hair past 30 your a lucky person. I see no problem with Matts hair or any other celebs that are mentioned here. Most people confuse a mature hairline with baldness- Wrong!

Who the hell has the time to sit around and nit pick peoples hairlines anyway??? You must have lots of time on your hands. For me if you do not Look like Paul Shaefer you are not bald or balding. Come on give it a rest and try not to finger celebs to feel better. Matt has no problem neither does Tom Cruise or Ed Norton or Luke Perry or Matt Leblanc or Ben Affleck- Fred Durst has a problem, you must learn to seperate fact from fiction my young lad. I am sure if you looked close enough you could find a problem with every person in Hollywoods hairline.

I doubt that Affleck wears a piece, but he very well could have had some minor transplantation to rebuild his hairline a bit... Now, Kevin Bacon, on the other hand...
