Yeah that's it. People can't help but to be superficial, and i think in some ways there's nothing wrong with that. Being superficial ties in with a person being weary, cautious etc since you never do know who the other person really is. But that shouldn't mean that those of us who look different or act different, should be turned downed or regarded with distaste.

Btw i haven't seen Tropic Thunder, but i never knew that Tom Cruise was in it? And just saw him on the wikipedia link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropic_Thunder#Casting goodnes he's unrecognisable.

I thought Tom cruise was great in tropic thunder. Very funny guy (not because of his hairloss), which is unusual because he doesnt normally play funny guys but action heroes.

the only guys who get laid in the above pic are the two on the right? You guys should stop projecting yourselves onto any source of pity you can. The reason matt damon looks terrible in these pics is not because he happens to be bald, it's because he's overweight (very noticeably as well), he dresses terribly, his haircut is a mess and he emotes with the sense of someone who values themselves as a lesser person. Stop thinking of yourself as a lesser person and you won't be viewed as a lesser person. The only male equivalent of a 300 lb female is a 300 lb male.

This is most bald men. It's hard to feel confident and great about yourself when you grappling with a changing landscape uptop. Some embrace it, some just look good bald, but I'd say the majority let themselves deteriorate.

Stop thinking of yourself as a lesser person and you won't be viewed as a lesser person.

That is why everyone is here. Not only is this an informative site for real, effective treatments (as well as out-of-the-box ideas), but it is also for a support group. In the end, everyone would be a lot better if they felt good about themselves.

We're here to help people feel more confident and not think of themselves as lesser, and ultimately (per above) be as attractive as they can be.
