Mature Hairline Trend

Every once in a while I notice trends around here.
The trend now is that everyone is calling recession a mature hairline.

That is just not something that can be judged. Every teen or 20 something that comes here cannot be told that his minor recession is a mature hairline. It very well may be, but no one is going to know just by talking to that person online.

Oh well, more of an observation that anything. :woot:

i have noticed that a lot of mature hairline diagnoses are being thrown about. i just figured that those guys knew more about it than me and left it at that.

I wouldn't say it's denial, it's simply because if you have recession in your twenties, and no hair loss any where else, it's statistically far more likely to be a mature hairline than male pattern baldness.

Around 95% of caucasian men get a "mature hairline", but I think only something like 10% experience premature baldness i.e baldness with an onset in the early adult life.
