Finasteride first then minoxidil. It's not good to start both at the same time then you don't know which is working better or worse. Minoxidil is only a growth stimulant and does not interfere with DHT which you need to slow down male pattern baldness. Minoxidil is best for those can't take finasteride due to age or other medical conditions.

For how long should i just take Finasteride before i add minoxidil to my routine?

@Outsider626 definitely get on finasteride. I have a bit more hair than you, on treatments and I'm still losing my f*****g hair. Do anything you can to stop this, and do it now. You will regret leaving it too late.

You cna buy 2% keto at HQHAIR, got mine for like 20 dollars. One bottle has lasted me for about 4 months so far. Still got like 20% left.

1mg finasteride. You could also use dutasteride which is more powerful but it might destroy your hairline. In fact.. Just go with finasteride and maybe minoxidil with a 1mm dermaroller.

I would give it at least 6 months on finasteride alone. If you are getting worse or see no improvement then add minoxidil. Start with 1mg of finasteride but get all your blood work done before you start the medication. Ask for a full blood panel including your hormones.

Yes, you can get your dermatologist to run the tests. The hairline/temples rarely improves on finasteride alone but anything is possible.
