May not be able to use minoxidil for a week...

I'm going to a festival in a few weeks with some friends, sleeping in the same tent as two of them... So it may get a bit awkward to find time to secretly apply minoxidil.

Would anyone have any experience of this? How long can you go without minoxidil before you start to see the effects?

Once before when I stopped round a friends house every couple of weeks I missed minoxidil every so often, and my hairline started hurting whenever I brushed it or when the wind blew it, and that was just missing a couple of days! :/

Don't sweat it. If you genuinely can't apply the minoxidil, a weeks break should be fine. Any resulting hair loss (highly doubt this will happen) will eventually grow back. Perhaps for peace of mind you could try to apply once a day? Though I realize that you may not want minoxidil in your possession for fear of you mates seeing it. I wouldn't worry too much, you'll be fine; just enjoy the fest

I'll try to get it done once a day, atleast try and quickly dab a little over my temples and hairline lol.
Will have to see how it goes, I'd hate to lose any progress as minoxidil has been such a lifesaver!

Go enjoy the festival, dont take any minoxidil with you and just relax while you're there.

Do you really want to be stressing about trying to find a time when its "safe" to apply it? And when would that be? Halfway through a killer set?

I switched from liquid minoxidil to foam for a couple of years and lost all my new growth... switched back and it grew back... so a worst case scenario is you lose a tiny amount of ground (seriously I doubt you go in to epic shed mode from missing one week) and you grow it back in a short space of time.

Its tough i know as you are caught in a sticky situation, but I honestly would just leave it at home and not spend half your time stressing about how and when to apply it.

Take it along. You're bound to find time....take a mirror and use it in the portable toilets?

Also, do what I do, peal the labels off so no one knows what it is if your mates find it.
