Well, I am starting to become paranoid over using Indian generics so I finally decided to take the plunge and just get real proscar (but US generic of course). However, I don't feel like the hastle of going to my doctor so I want to just do the medical wellness center thing.

However, once I get the script from them is there any chance it might not be accepted (eg at pharmacy such as Walmart or Rite Aid). How exactly does the prescription look? Does it
have a real doctor's name on it or does it say "medical wellness center" I know i'll be able to get the script its just using it that conerns me. Also, how long are they good for? I hope its atleast a year.

For around 200 bucks a year, i can have peace of mind. To me, thats a small price to pay so thats why I'm going the legit route.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Phillip

The prescription has a doctor's signature, The prescription looks like any other prescription. It has the text for the clinic, the doctor's name, client's name, and medicine being prescribed. I had no problem filling my prescription at Fred Meyer (owned by Krogers) and I'm sure you'll have no problems filling it at Rite Aid or Walmart.

I just got mine from them and I havent used it yet, but they say you cannot use it in Florida. The other states should be good.

Also The Generic they have is probally from India, I am not sure but tell me where your generic is from when you do get your proscar pills from a US pharmacy I am curious to know.

I will probally get the Merck proscar from walmart and cut it into 5ths if I do decide to get some.

I also plan on using medical wellness center. So, this is legit? Going to the doctor's is just way too much of a hassle for me

I got a script from them for Proscar and the quantity amount for it was 8 pills 5 mg each.

it said cut them in 1/4th for hair loss so I guess you only pay for a months supply.

you have to pay 55 bucks for your consult from medicalwellnesscenter.

I dont know if they charge you 55 as well for script renewal but that would suck *** if they did.

Well, i finally got my prescription for real Proscar a few weeks ago and got my first batch.

The only bad thing is that these pills are the long cylinder shaped ones (produced by Teva). They are a little harder to cut but i'll bear with it. Next time I'll be sure to request the round ones as this is how my fincar pills were shaped.

When i look at my hairline, I'm pretty sure the Fincar did its job but I'd rather just be 100 percent sure. My body hair seems to have reduced a little in places like the back area and also chest somewhat. Facial hair has not been affected which is good.

Overall my hairline does look a little stronger I think over the 6 months on 1.25 mg per day of Fincar from In house Pharmacy. I'll keep you posted regarding the switch to the real stuff.

By the way, the damn forum messed up my painstakingly typed regimen. As for now its just 1.25 mg of proscar and minoxidil 5 percent at night only.
