Yeah.. I'm sure anorexic girls, and those who enable them, also make your "blood boil."
Nope.

I have a problem woth anyone who enables an anorexic or an alcoholic or an obese person. Why wouldn't I?

I also have a problem with people who hate on these people who clearly have addiction or bdd issues though.

It's obvious that you're probably good looking from the life you live.

obvious and probably

And yes i am attractive something i said from day one but its a little ridiculous to rate me as an 8.5 when you never even saw me.

And its also ridiculous that this is stemming from me saying that the statement Dante made specifically about holding doors with hat/without hat was in my opinion exaggerated after seeing his photos of his hair and part of his face and his physique.

You do a knee jerk defense of him not because you disagree with what i am saying factually but you are feeling annoyed that an attractive woman is saying it to him. IF i was a fellow incel male you would probably be agreeing.

First of all, please don't act grieved -- I obviously don't see you as a fountain of lies, check your likes history, I approve of many of your posts. I have told you this publicly, and privately, When I scroll down the page and I see your screenname, I usually stop and read. I even agree with you here, I explicitly wrote that I suspect Dante is exaggerating (you just used the same exact word) and dramatizing on some level, but we should not judge unless we have been in his shoes.

I think if you were an incel male, you would have a totally different view on life and you'd be saying different things. You'd be a different person. It's not a meaningful hypothetical at all.

I'm not the one who's hobby diagnosing people on an Internet forum. However, you don't need to be a medical expert to see that she's killing herself with that lifestyle. I just don't like to see people on a suicide mission, that's all.
You are indeed right that I care too much and that I should enjoy being a young, attractive woman. It's easier said than done, though.

Don't you think that has to be a form of mental illness to do that to yourself though? To become that obese? The people commenting on her videos are probably obese and depressed themselves.

I'm not aggrieved David.

I think the original point stands that Dante exaggerated in this instance.
You agree he is exaggerating in this instance.
So why does my attraction level matter or is it even being considered?

You guys get mad at the new age feminists that are so hyper assertive to make sure you guys dont offend or hurt them with micro aggressions YET when i say something YOU yourself agree with you are auto correcting me and lecturing me that i am attractive and therefore should not comment on something you yourself agree with.

I mean lets look at the woman who was heavy who lost weight we are all sharing opinion on her story--yet none of us were ever 365 pounds to 'know' what its like to be in her shoes...yet we are humans we have opinions

When did opinions get to be so policed by both young men and young women?

I do think there is an addiction aspect.

I do feel bad for them..i mean i dont lose sleep over it the way i dont lose sleep over an alcoholic but i feel bad they are stuck on a hamster wheel that is very hard to break out of.

For the most part, I'm a feminist, or pro-feminist, whichever label you prefer I don't think the label is important. Women face a lot of hurdles men don't typically face, for example this:

and this:

And I'd like to see a better world where women are more genuinely integrated into society.

There's a range of views within feminism and sometimes I take one sides within a controversy, other times I don't know so I don't take a side. I've brought this up with the other posters a few times before, I can't bring it up every time because then I would never stop talking.

It's not just you and I'm fairly consistent across the forum on anti-Dante bullying. He is going through a difficult time which stretches back years. Even if he is plausibly mistaken on a point here and there, it is not necessarily optimal to bring it up every time in an aggressive manner.

As for attraction, it will hurt more coming from you, and be less likely to be received properly, simply because for whatever sh*t you've dealt with in your life, it's been totally different sh*t. It's equivalent to a white person telling a black person that they're exaggerating on the racism concerns. It's very unlikely to work. Even if the black person is wrong, if he's been beaten up by police before he's very unlikely to listen.

Yes, food, and I think carbohydrates/sugar in particular, can be very addictive. My weight loss journey has been a long and arduous, I'm almost across the finish line, but holy f*** I'd really like pizza and ice cream right now.

I don't know how you don't see that is you attempting to get me to self censor myself. Censorship of my thoughts by guilting me because my life experience is different then his. For something you yourself agree with on a factual level.

This may be a generational thing because you are a millennial and i think for some reason your generations seems to equate being offended as being bullied or picked on.

As a white person i cant have an opinion about a black persons STORY and when photo evidence is also available that does not back up his story in fact discredits him????
that would mean we can only have segregated trials.

I think you are doing exactly what the far left feminists do...you want to protect him from what you perceive as a 'micro aggression' from me because of his life experience.

On a side note - does anyone dislike the term millennial?

I never liked the term generation X which Hairblues is/was either.

Can you remember gen x being demonised in the press hairblues?

So do I. It's sad to see people kill their liver.

So many people who are smart and have a lot of potential, are
just wasting their lives.

Hoping this year a lot of people will get off of it.

I'm also Generation X. Think it means we're kind of ignored.

We're definitely not the baby boomers. Also, millennial stands for Generation Y, I believe.

They ripped Generation X apart back in the day and called them lazy, apathetic, slackers.

I think it was the whole Grunge scene that made all the adults at the time associate all young people as being precisely the same thing.

Its such an idiotic thing to do to make wild generalisations about an entire generation but it seems we do it to try and offer a simple narrative to a complex matter.

Labels are so stupid. As if we're all born in the same environment, same genetics, sex, orientation, etc.

There are so many variables, even at birth (and during pregnancy) that effect our nature when
we are born.

Yep. I cringe with embarrassment whenever someone on TV says.. "Well, my generation believe... "
I'm like "What the hell are you, a robot! Think for yourself!"
