Ok, so I read a while back a study done in Egypt on women where they injected a mixture called Mesopecia into the scalp on an interval, 1x per week for 4 weeks, then 1x per every 2 weeks for a while, then monthly for like 2 months. The study was maybe 6-8 months. but there were before and after pictures, which showed regrowth and a narrowing of the part (women tend to have central part line shedding and retain the frontal hairline). In any case, mesotherapy apparently involves very shallow needles only going 1-3mm into the tissue. They sell needle assemblies with like rows of these needles which are a few cm apart.

The mix has propecia in it, and b6, biotin, and maybe zinc, I don't recall all of it. They also sell a liquid dutasteride, which I suppose you can add to it. and I think the study had both in it.

You can google mesotherapy worldwide. CEO's email is: [email protected] She did email me back. I am considering it.

Ships from Dubai. Finasteride has a molecular weight of like 350 dKa, so it is at least theoretically absorbable through the skin. Now I know that Glaxo's packaging says dutasteride can be absorbed through the skin and women especially pregnant ones should not handle and their guys should wear condoms if the guy is taking it because his semen will have some level of dutasteride, and she can absorb it that way. Well 1) vaginal mucosal tissue has way different potential to absorb stuff than regular skin, and 2) dutasteride has a molecular weigh of 528 dKa....so I am not sure if it really is absorbable through the skin (regular skin) as it is above the 500 weight limit. But maybe GSK is just doing CYA in case.

But I digress. Injections bypass the molecular weight issue. And local delivery might require less of the drug vs. oral, and less sides. So just a thought. Has anyone tried it? I expect you could also empty your dutasteride capsule into their Mesopecia product rather than buying their dutasteride supplement. I think their dutasteride liquid for injection was a very low concentration.

I do not work for them, have not ordered yet. Just thought it was interesting approach perhaps.

Hi, Maddy

I actually live in Egypt and did PRP sessions, my doctor recommended mesotherapy injections with dutasteride and she mentioned it gives great effects, she mentioned the same injection intervals as the study too. I only found out about the study today and they say 62% of the women saw improvements, which sounds interesting. The sessions aren't very expensive but because they're very frequent they would cost as much as PRP "which did nothing for me", but I think I might give it a try in the next few months and give you and update

I am getting topical finasteride from my Dr and I have topical spironolactone

I am a woman but not having children but dont want oral because I have to take birth control pills (which prefer for now to avoid)

Anyway this was interesting to me..I am not going to order from them BUT I am thinking about adding derma stamping to my routine...which maybe if you just get topical finasteride and a dermastamp can have a similar out come?

Just a thought.
