as far as i know you ve regrown an amazing amount of hair taking oral spironolactone & after discontinuing it you lost ground beside your constant taking of androcur and Loniten. i am thinking about taking oral spironolactone too but the link below scares me...

Please check out this link and give me your opinion:

thanks seaback for all the advice, its really helpful. :punk:

You are right. As matt88(HLH member) said "Just spironolactone is a weak anti-androgen when used topically(but not orally),that's why we don't have many success stories on (topical)spironolactone. " Right: spironolactone's antiandrogenic properties outweigh its damages if any. we should not trust every study that comes out.

I drop Androcur. I'm starting tonight. Today I've seen my scalp in a mirror in direct sunlight and it was not nice... getting close to baseline... I will have to shave or use some depilatory cream for my chest/shoulders but it doesn't matter.

I feel you, dude...it Sucks

If I were you then I wouldn't mind losing muscle mass. low dose oral spironolactone(50mg) will increase rather than decrease testosterone. IMO 50mg of oral spironolactone isn't going to be enough to help with hairloss... By the way, you can exercise harder to build muscle, while taking some oral anti-androgens as well.
