So I'm pretty sure I've always had these small hairs along my hairline, but now I'm a bit worried they're getting worse. I don't wanna go making a huge deal about this quitebyet until I get the proper feedback I've been craving. Whatcha guys think?

I'd just keep monitoring it for now, but if you are super concerned and want a detailed diagnosis, go to a derm's offfice and ask to get your scalp mapped for miniaturization. You should have no more than 20% miniaturization.

Man I was hoping that wouldn't be the case, do you guys think this could turn into a mature hairline? Those thin hairs are lined up on my last forehead wrinkle, and I've always sorta had those dips on the corner, heres a pic from when I was a child, does that maaaybe change anything?

i assume you're new here? There are treatments that will allow you to keep the hair you have (possibly even get hair back).
Finasteride and Minoxidil (Rogaine) are the essentials.

A lot of guys on this thread (and on this forum in general) are beating around the bush, asking unimportant questions instead of giving you the advice you need. Being honest man, your hair is receding. I'd see a derm as soon as you can and try to get a prescription to Finasteride (but also just ask him her for general advice as well)

Hope this helps

Man I really appreciate your honesty bro, I've juat been really worried yknow? Like I just got a girlfriend who I enjoy so much and I don't wanna be some balding loser she has to be seen in public with lol I know there are many things medically I can try but the thought of it really freaks me out..like I've heard they can change hormonal balances and stuff. If you really thinkbI should see someone then I suppose I will. Thanks again

I wouldnt bother. If you can see a noticeable large change in density or a bald spot just get on treatments. That simple really whether you have family history or not who cares? Your either balding or your not.
If your balding I would not bet my money that it magically just stops next year and stays that way the rest of your life, although it probably rarely happens

Man that'd be fuckin GREAT if that miniaturisation stopped there, but I think what I'm gonna do is go to my doctor and ask about an iron deficiency. I've always had cravings for ice and weird stuff like that, plus lately I've just been so tired and out of things. My sideburns are also kinda thinning which could be related to anemia, I dunno just visit a white coat and see whats up, thanks so far guys!

hey, I'm glad could help. Don't let the hormonal stuff bug you. Keep it in mind I guess, but I personally have been taking finasteride for a month and I have not had any change in my libido or the volume of my semen or anything. Everything is totally normal and my hair has already started coming back. Apparently it can take longer for some people but my point is that this drug is not as scary as people are making it out to be.

If you start to feel weird you can always stop. The side effects will stop along with it. But seriously don't wig youselfout about it, it has impacted my life 0 percent
