Minoxidil 2nd Shed Your Thoughts Cause I Forgot Derr

so I've used minoxidil in the pass for probably 10 months but stop because I have bad irritation for 4 months during my time usage (did not use shampoo consistently ) so I stop for three months ... I'm back on and been on for 5.5 months without any irritation or itch had minor improvements had a initial shed as expect and then things got better my hairline is still intact and am not below baseline although I'm going thru a second shed is this right on schedule since I'm around 5.5 months on minoxidil.. and how long does a second shed last ? Btw although I'm shedding I am not noticing a decline in my hair

Im on it for 6 weeks...
week 1-2 nothing then week 3 and 4 tons and tons of shedding...
Now very little shedding and some regrowth.

yeah me too no shedding for the first two weeks and then alot of shedding i did not care cause i knew it was going to happen but then i went thru a period of very little shedding which lasted awhile and now im shedding a ton of hair and its been going on for probably two months sucks i hope its gets under control soon

I think minoxidil sort of synchronizes your hair growth phases, meaning at a certain stage a lot of your hair could be ending its growth phase and thus shedding. At least I read that somewhere, can't remember where though.

My shedding has picked up a bit lately. Still not back to pre-treatment levels though thankfully.

How long have you. Even shedding for ? It's strange I shed this way but don't notice any decline in my hair

February, I will complete 1 year using Min (on both temples + a quick smear on the hairline).

I also didn't notice any decline in my hair. I think because new ones are always growing back... One thing I noticed though, is that the minoxidil hairs doesn't get too long.. I think they grow 1 inch and then fall.. I will continue to use though...

If you're not noticing a decline, and you see new terminal hair regrowth than it's working for you.

Shedding this late in the game, you should probably be using foam. Or it could be from
too much Minoxidil.

ive always heard of shed cycles with minoxidil ... my hair is not getting worse although i am shedding. I keep my head buzzed at a 2 and as the months go on im pretty pleased with the results. When my hair stops shedding ill probably have some good results
