minoxidil 3 month no result

hi guys , it has been 3 month since i'm applying minoxidil 5 twice daily on my hairline , and ive got no result and a slight worsening , i had maybe a slight shed in the beginning but nothing major .
So is it normal to see no result for the moment , will the improvement come later ? Thx for all your help .

and Dutasterid is not for all Good and makes Impotent

I've taken it on and off for a few years and, to be honest, I never really noticed a difference either way. I definitely went through a shed period and regained what I shed, but I don't think it made any real difference for me.

i need advice from people who know their topic, not scaremongers plz . 2 years on finasteride and not a singe side effect ( but no result ).

but minoxidil give me a lot of unwanted hair on my eyebrows and cheek , so it might work to some extent ? any advice ?

Unfortunately, results from minoxidil can be modest. Mine are - but I still use it anyway.

You may be lacking the sulfurtransferase enzyme. Meaning the drug will not work for you.
But 3 months is too soon to tell. Grind it out for another 9 months, and then judge. However, Minoxidil will not stop your hair loss. You have to get on finasteride/dutasteride.

however ive got a lot of tiny vellu hair on my forehead and an increase of unwanted facial hair so maybe it means ive got the enzyme?

I got good results from minoxidil for about 2 months then the DHT resumed to eat my hair cause Finasteride was not enough to stop it. Now I need to get on dutasteride.

i'm really depressed , i think ive been too greedy . I was maybe a Norwood 2 with propecia and now 3 month of minoxdil and ive receded like crazy on my temple .
What can i do , i stick with minoxidil or should i stop then the hair will grow back 6 month later ? i'm ****ing lost .

Mann with minoxidil the initial results come in the 4th month, for someone first and for other later....stick with it for at least 6/8 months.
Be patient the initial period is the more difficult because the hairs enters in Telogen Effluvium phase but if it works for you these will come back more strong and healthy

Finesteride works great just be weary, and a few question about starting monoxide !!

I feel for ya, and this thread is making me pretty nervous. Just a heads up I had some bad side effects from propecia, that have taken months to subside and still don't feel quite right . After 1.5 years on it my hair was beginning to actually grow back . I know hair is damn important to us all here, however when it comes to mental health and wellbeing , it doesn't matter how thick your locks are if your feel so off from side effects of a medication you can't even think about going on a date , your hair quickly looses it's luster and importance.

A few questions For those that have experience with minoxidil , if it doesn't work can it actually make things worse? I'm on day 9 and the receding areas of my hair line head went from slightly noticeable to my GF saying " Oh now I can see why you wanted to start rogaine I didn't even really see it before" WTF ! O S#!%
1)Please tell me this is normal and just the shedding phase right?
2) Is it uncommon for the hair to look a considerable amount thinner this soon? ( looks like what I imagine it would look like in year if I din't do anything, its scaring me ) way worse than before starting finesteride years ago )
3)How long until I will see it return to at least where it was before starting (just 9 days ago ) rogaine on my hair?
4) If I don't see any benefits after 2-3 months does that usually mean I'm one of those it not going to work on? If so will saying on it at least help keep some hair that otherwise would be falling out or just make the hair thicker.

or should I just be exploring other conductive treatments. With minoxidil
