Ok, 28 now been on finasteride for I think 7 years.
When I started out nobody could see I was losing hair, only I was sure it was getting thinner.
Now in the last year it has thinned quite a lot, I noticed I'm a diffuse thinner and if I comb it back it is clearly visible. Also my crown is getting a lot thinner. My hairline is still rock solid (although I'd rather wish it was receding but my crown was full).
I had somewhat of a stressful period last year, not sure if that has anything do with it.
My questions is if minoxidil is a must for my diffuse thinning, I know myself and I'm sure if it's not working I'll keep on using it just be sure that if it was working I wouldn't lose the hair I "gained" (I'm doing the same with finasteride, since I've never seen an improvement over the last 7 years but i just figured it "might" be working).
I was thinking of applying minoxidil only at night, so once a day, but not sure if this is a good idea overall and if so foam or the cheaper spectral dnc.
