Minoxidil.com hacked

I am new here and have read alot of posts. I am thinning on top and wanted to find a good non-greasy minoxidil to try. I read a bunch of suggestions about Dr. Lees Minoxidil not being greasy so I went to minoxidil.com to purchase an order. I found out a few weeks after that, that my credit card had been compromised. I was not 100% sure where the people got my credit card info from since I used it at a bunch of places online. So I got refunded my money from the CC Company and was issued a brand new CC with a new number. I then did a new order at minoxidil.com and just today I found out that it happened again.
This time I know it was from minoxidil.com because I have only used that CC on that site and no where else. No purchases for anything else with that card.

I just wanted to see if anyone else ran into this and to warn people. I have contacted them by email telling them.

I also hope I can find a replacement for the minoxidil that they have as I like it and it is not greasy.

I am sorry it happened to you also, and I wonder how many others it happened to.

Seems like a trend. I would email them to let them know. Or maybe they do know and dont care.

I wish I had Dr. Lees email address to write him directly.

I was minutes away from placing an order from there. I'm very glad I looked here first. Have any of you let Dr Lee know of this?

The charges that showed on mine were some online billing companies from the Netherlands (shady p**rn sites)
And some online gaming sites. (I think its mix and match)

I sent him an email saying that there are a whole bunch of people from the gourmetstylewellness.com forums that are experiencing credit card fraud from his site.

His email address is: [email protected]

I ordered my spironolactone 2 weeks ago and everything is fine.

Let me mention I noticed a change in the steps when placing my order. This time I had no way to know the shipping costs before entering my personal details and credit card information. I can recall from a previous order that shipping costs were added right before this step and not right after, as it happened this time.

I guess this might have something to do..

Its funny you should all mention this

I ordered a new shipment of items form Dr Lee's site about a week ago. Then on Wed of this week my credit union called me from the fraud department. Apparently there were several charges from Valve aka Steam gaming service and then charges for World of Warcraft totaling $147 all together.

My bank couldnt fig out why any of this happen so everything is currently under investigation.

Now i know why.

Ive ordered form Dr Lee's site with out problems the past 6 months so this has to be something new.

This sort of pisses me off. I have had great success from Dr. Lee's product's for the last year. If this problem doesn't resolve, i will be forced to change up my regimen. I hope Dr. Lee takes this problem seriously and fixes the security of his website...

Ok this is scary because I got hit about a month ago for 3 charges and I have always wondered how they got my info. And now looking at Dr Lee my card got scammed about 2 weeks after my order.

So the fraud happened 03/20/10 and my minoxidil.com order was 03/09/10

Ok I sent Dr Lee an email linking this thread.

I have been using Dr Lees for many years without ever having a problem. There is no way anyone from Dr Lees office is directly involved...if there is any connection it has to just be some a**h** hacker.

I noticed on his site the during checkout his website security is not right. It states (at least in Firefox) that the site "contains unauthenticated content".

Sucks because I did like his minoxidil, but looks like I need to find a different place.

Has anyone done an order over the phone and had problems?

get the paypal plug-ing for firefox and generate a one time credit card transaction until minoxidil.com gets their security issued sorted.
