Minoxidil (foam/reg)and dry, itchy, flakey scalp

How do you deal with applying Minoxidil and dry, itchy, flakey scalp. What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Or do you apply other oils to the scalp?

I've heard people use Aloe Vera gel to soothe it. I've found washing my hair in cold water helps with irritation too, dunno why!

It's the PG in the minix that give you dry scalp. Try it with glycerin.
