I've taken minoxidil for one year and two months, doing an application once per day after showering. I have not seen any improvement in density and in fact, have continued to lose density, as my hairline is receding and becoming more thin than before. I've been on finasteride for two months at this point, and would like advice whether it's worth it or not to continue minoxidil. Would applying it twice per day have made a difference on gains? Let me know your thoughts and experience.

My current status is diffuse thinning. I've included pictures, wet hair is from 2 years ago, dry hair is present look.

My top was always pretty badly diffused, does seem to be stable.

definitely losing density though, as my right side front temple used to be pretty dense, but now you can see clearly through it and I can see individual strands rather than a cluster. Just don't have a picture of the front on my phone at the moment. I specifically applied rogaine very thoroughly on the front, and have seen continual loss despite.

Minoxidil didn't do much for me when I tried it years ago, but apparently dermarolling could help the process so might be worth looking into that?

I would continue Minoxidil. You may want to look into Lipogaine...I made the switch a few months ago and think it is vastly superior (has Minoxidil but other ingredients that have been shown to help with hair growth/androgens).
