HI all,

I am 32 years old, and i start to get hair loss when I am 20+. I have read a lot of post and know about the big three. From last year, I decide to give a try on finasteride and took nizoral 2% from last month(PS. I think I am at Norwood 3-4), I think finasteride maintain my hair and I see a very thin hair (I am not sure it would be call it as hair) on my hairline. I am thinking to add a growth stimulants product. And I know a lot ppl are getting success of minoxidil or with fins and nizoral. Before I move another step into minoxidil, I wanna know is there any other growth stimulants? I have see some of the ppl discuss about the tricomic; folligen; emu oil; fluridil etc. I wanna get a try on those for 6 month to 12 months and see is there any result. Emu Oil is one of the product I will add into my Regimen. I wanna choose one more growth stimulants instead of minoxidil at ths moment.
Any recommendation? Sorry for my poor English.

Best Regards.

Don't waste your time reading FredTheBelgian posts. He is very very narrow minded person, incapable of objective thinking.

Minoxidil really is the only readily available growth stimulate. Neogenics is an expensive, less effective treatment IMO.

Experienced user here, minoxidil is the only safe and proven growth stimulant. Don't waste your time and money on anything else.

Safe? I have read several complaints from users who experienced Swollen Lymph Node (Lymphadenopathy). Search the internet for yourself!
Here is an example:

At least read the research article I mentioned that has compared Curcumin and Apigenin with Minoxidil, Because I don't know what you mean by "only ... proven" neither.

THANKS MEHRDAD.....I will read the information that u post.

any other advise?

For Apigenin use, you can get a natural Chamomile extract Shampoo. and if you use it with Ketoconazole Shampoo (which has Hair Growth Promoting and Androgen Receptor Blocking properties) you'd notice better result!

Good luck.

I don't like to spread bad things about anyone! but as I have received unnecessary "negative reputation" multiple times from FredTheBelgian, I should say he acts like he know everything which he don't. And he'd hate-spam you with "negative reputation" if he doesn't like you (read: not accepting his opinions)!

I go further and say FredTheBelgian is the guy dealing with many mental complexes and he's happy about things which he thinks he know, but in reality he doesn't have a scientific clue about anything he give opinion. And he's a rockstar in almost every PUAhate on the internet!

Nope! there is a flavone called "Apigenin" which promotes hair growth as effective as Minoxidil, Also it inhibits TGF-Beta1 (which is a product of DHT) in follicle.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19277688

Parsley & chamomile tea have the greatest amount of Apigenin.

This is page 1 of 2 displaying 14 foods ordered by their concentration of Apigenin per 100 grams. Click any food name to see its full nutritional profile.

Value Per Nutrient Food
13506.20 mg 100 grams Apigenin Spices, parsley, dried
302.00 mg 100 grams Apigenin Parsley, raw
8.71 mg 100 grams Apigenin Peppermint, fresh
5.00 mg 100 grams Apigenin Thyme, fresh
4.61 mg 100 grams Apigenin Celery, raw
3.85 mg 100 grams Apigenin Rutabagas, raw
2.41 mg 100 grams Apigenin Celeriac, raw
0.38 mg 100 grams Apigenin Lettuce, iceberg (includes crisphead types), raw

Why dried parsley has much more Apigenin than raw parsley? :)
