Minoxidil shed? Telogen Effluvium? Progressive male pattern baldness?

Currently using minoxidil, a couple months into it I get this heavy shedding. male pattern baldness runs in the family, not every male in family is slick bald though.

Is this thinning from the minoxidil? Or just further genetic hairloss? Thinking about whether or not I should discontinue. Any thoughts?

I have the exact same pattern right down the middle like that. Where do you apply the minoxidil? Is it on specifically the crown and down the middle like that? The entire scalp?

The parts i applied the topical is down the middle and the crown. So the ththinning is only where i applied the medicine

I had almost no frontal thinning, only some on crown. Nape had minor thinning too

yes discontinue minoxidil, using minoxidil without finasteride is only delaying the inevitable. you probably have your reasons for not taking finasteride
