I have been using a lot of minoxidil twice a day, and my forehead now has very deep long line wrinkles, hopefully this will disappear if I continue without letting it drip too further down.

I apply Minoxidil twice daily, and I'll apply a ton of it per application. I have plenty massaged onto my forehead and never got any wrinkles. My skin is still baby smooth just like the days before I ever started this treatment, so I doubt Minoxidil can cause wrinkles as a side effect, and there's no scientific evidence that it can.

You shouldn't use minoxidil as face lotion. 8O

Seriously though, it's really not that hard to make sure it only stays on the scalp. Just apply like half a dropper at once MAX, then massage it over your scalp. Then apply the rest.

That's the thing guys I don't massage it I let it drench over my head, I am seeing super speedy results this way, the only thing is it drips down to my forehead and the forehead stays drenched and saggy, need to stop doing that, will report updates

I use the topical Minoxidil aerosol (foam) and have my hair and scalp soaked in it, the drug is so inexpensive nowadays that a lot of it could go to waste and it's still cost effective.

Here in the UK, rogaine foam is actually quite expensive

Also the liquid version is supposed to be more better in terms of absorption and results

Man and then no wonder people report side effects.

I'm like, super careful with the stuff. I use latex gloves to not get any on my fingers. The first few times I didn't I thought I had more wrinkly fingers than usual (prolly my imagination but...)
And I make sure none of it gets anywhere other than my scalp, if something leaks around I wash it away immediately.

minoxidil causes wrinkling if it gets on the skin ? I never even knew this. Is this a well known side effect?

I started using them with my pm dose of minoxidil. As I was worried about the wrinkling side effect. Tretinoin, retinol, glycolic acid creams. Their pretty good. My skin looks far better than before minoxidil with them.

Apparently reported by a few people before, I never experienced this until recently when I started drenching my hair in like 3ml minoxidil and it used to drip to my forehead, I didn't bother wiping it off, but the wrinkles appeared pretty quickly, and they're pretty deep. Hopefully being more careful now they will disappear or I'm gonna blow some bucks on botox lol

I quit minoxidil as soon as I noticed a persistent puffy face and some signs of pseudoacromegaly (eyebrown and cheekbone growth). I'm tall so i guess my body is kind of sensitive to GH.

5% minoxidil doesn't really give me sides. But when I was using 15% I did. Sometimes I was fine on it. And other times I felt awful, out of it and Id be like omg is this the minoxidil. And I try to convince myself it wasn't. Then I'd get to a mirror and I'd look noticably unwell with black eyes. It's ok if you go really easy on it. I stopped using it because it's a lot more expensive and 5% is enough for me.

It's a horrible treatment, I'd steer clear of Minoxidil. Much worse than any anti androgen.

Oh my, side effect scientific evidence?
Would definetly boost their gain even more.

Can you not just wipe your forehead off with a wet towel once you're done applying? That's what I do whenever there's a spill.
