Those of you that had transplants and had to stop the use of minoxidil a few months before the procedure...how did the stoppage of minoxodil affect your hair? major shed? minor shed? no difference?

Few months? Try a few days! The reason for stopping prior to surgery is that minoxidil thins the blood and thus reduces its clotting ability. Minoxidil clears your system in a few days after discontinuing use, so stop five days prior tops, maybe as few as three.

I would also start it immediately after the procedure. I think this is 1 of the reasons I have such good results.
